Hi!

I had the same issue… finally found that the cause was a conflict with Contact Form 7. Disabling it made the problem disappear.

I also followed kmessinger’s advice on downloading a fresh copy of WP and replacing wp-admin and wp-includes folders… then tried again re-enabling Contact Form 7 and the problem re-appeared so I’ve definitely rejected this plugin.

I’m having the same issue, the solution proposed in this thread didn’t work and the update didn’t fix it either

Description of the bug:
1) The first time I hover after loading the page, the tooltip appears with text “Loading glossary term” for an instant. Then, the text disappears and the tooltip remains, empty.
2) The second time I hover, the tooltip appears empty.

This plugin was so promising, what a pity!! ??
