REally strange.
No, this is a new WP installation [well, a week old], and SM in the only membership plugin I have installed. These short codes showed up after SP was installed, as I was going through the pages. Makes sense that only the swpm SCs work, but I am at a complete loss to understand where these “ms” codes came from.

I found a doc that talks about the add-on for modifying forms. It is the paid addon, which I will buy – unless there is a free addon that does the same thing [much preferred, I am on a very restricted budget]

Confused. I do not see the relevance of the doc on recreating pages with short codes not working.
The pages are there, but where these short codes are used, they just show up as text, not links.
Interestingly, the short codes that as of the form [swpm_xxx_form], they work.
But the short codes of the form [ms-membership-logout], they do not work.

I have no experience with HTML, so I will have to do a bit of learning [not a bad thing] to be able to create a plugin, but thank you in any event.

Certainly, the URL is intelcap.us. I will grab a screen capture, and put it up.

Curiously, I attempted to change the box around the form. Color and width worked as they should. But the width command did not. The “max-width” attribute does control the width or the box around the form.

I hate to look like a “can’t do it” character, however; I added the width statement to the input text, input select, and input texztarea as the doc says, but nothing changes the actual width of these boxes.

Any other thoughts?

I want to make the whole form wider – all fields about 50% wider than they are. I am using the forms in the body of pages, not the sidebar so the forms look silly so narrow in the middle of a page.

The only thing that seems to be relevant is to add an attribute – size =80 for example. But that does not change the visible box on screen.

I don’t understand. 5 minutes later, the header is back! I did nothing, changed nothing. Is there some sort of time delay involved?

Instead of the header, I was getting the site name. Playing around, I got to header options, and checked “show logo” I do not have a logo uploaded, so I was hoping that would get the header back. Nothing. So I unchecked the show logo, and now neither the site name, or header show up. I can’t get anything in the header location.
