Maybe this issue was related to the server Object cache. We fixed this issue in the last release. Could you try it again and confirm?

You are right, there is no Run now button. It doesn’t do automatically anything.
This plugin is useful when you see some problems and would like to know which plugin causes it. The plugin functionality is described in short in the plugin description.

Sorry for a really long response delay.
I’ve just checked with PHP 8.0.27 and the latest WP version and it works fine for me.
Do you still have this issue? If so – which PHP version do you use?
Also, do you use Object Cache on your hosting or a cache plugin? If so – try to reset these caches.

@mastix Sorry for the misunderstanding. The plugin does not ask you to install more software. The necessary software is already inside the plugin. However, to do things that the plugin does, it requires moving a file from /plugins folder to /mu-plugins folder. Actually, we could do it automatically, but we ask admins confirmation for that to make the process clear. For more information about mu-plugins folder, please read this article.

We store only check_conflicts_settings option in wp_options table.
Also, we store mu-check-conflicts.php file in /wp-content/mu-plugins/ folder – it’s the MU plugin.
If it shows the fatal error again – please, share me the whole message of it here.

Tbh I couldn’t replicate this issue. I’ve tried with changing the plugin settings and without that, on local site and remote site and without luck. If you could record a video of how you replicate the issue, it will be much of help.

@theforwardmale No, you screwed up something. We don’t have this purpose. Where have you read about it? Maybe another plugin has it or it’s your dream. We help the 1% of users out there who know code but don’t want to edit it via SFTP or SSH which isn’t convenient.
