Hello,
Thanks for a quick answer. That is correct, I would like to edit something in those files. I was checking the wp-config.php before, there is no disallow_file_edit set at all. I even tried to add this line and set it to false. Unfortunately it didn’t help. I will get in touch with theme creators, maybe they disabled it in latest release. I read that WordPress is gradually rolling out this function.
Regards,
Grzegorz
I see, thanks!
Thank you,
It didn’t work at first, but after I clicked, show only 5-star reviews, and saved it, the other setting “hide review without comments” started working too. Still, I have the issue that it is checked to only show reviews in Polish, but I get also those in English and Russian. How does this mechanism work? It detects the language of the comment, or is it is based on the local settings of the user posting the review? Those reviews were made by clients based and working in Poland, one was concerning service in English, and another one was posted in Russian by the user, but also concerning service in English.
A solution to the above-mentioned issue could be if you allow your plugin to use the WPML to translate reviews. It could work if it works in a way that it stores those reviews locally (or are they served “on the fly”)?

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] issue with translation with WPML@leonwimmenhoeve @baboehm
thanks for help! I switched the languages as @baboehm suggested and did the translation. It works now. Only the link to the cookie policy remains untranslated, but I think that translating the cookie policy page to English will solve also this issue. Actually, I think that it was translated already, maybe regenerating the cookie policy within the plugin made the translation to the cookie policy page disappear? If so, it would be nice to think about a solution, regenerating is sometimes necessary because of adding/removing plugins.Hello,
OK, so it has much, much fewer fields than the previous version of your plugin, and it lost data of those other fields that were included within it.

GrzegorzThank you Denes, I’ve sent it to you via e-mail support@… on 10th January.

In reply to: [Redis Object Cache] WordPress detected error in plugin Redis Object Cache@tillkruess thanks for the quick reply. I’m using the LiteSpeed cache plugin.
Hi,
thanks for this one! The “Image elements do not have explicit width and height” error related to the GS plugin is gone.
There is only one issue related to CLS present in Lighthouse
“Avoid non-composited animations”.
Each logo animated with GS Slider Lite has such a description:
<div class="gs_logo_single gs_logo-single--flex-center"> Unsupported CSS Property: border-bottom-left-radius Unsupported CSS Property: border-bottom-right-radius Unsupported CSS Property: border-top-left-radius Unsupported CSS Property: border-top-right-radius
”
Google comments it as “Animations which are not composited can be janky and increase CLS.” https://web.dev/non-composited-animations/?utm_source=lighthouse&utm_medium=unknown
Thank you for a quick reply! I am waiting patiently for the update on this issue.
Hi,
thank you for your reply. I don’t want to have two translation plugins installed due to possible performance issues. I tried to fight this issue on my own without success, so I decided to switch your plugin to YASR. It doesn’t have such a nice functionality as your plugin, but there are no translation issues with WPML.
Regards,
GrzegorzAnother issue with the plugin that I have, after rating the post with 5-stars it asks users to “follow us on social media”. It is a very good option, but it shows also a button for “reddit” which was left blank (we don’t use it), so the button should not appear on this menu.
Hi Blaz,
Yes, it is enabled. So the translation of the strings was disabled in your plugin. I translated them in WMPL, but on the Polish version of the website, it displays the English version of the plugin.

Grzegorz
