In reply to: subdomain set up – 404 errorOk.. so I have been able to confirm that the wildcard subdomain has been created.. what could actually be wrong with the set up.. even though I see no error messages on the dashboard.

In reply to: subdomain set up – 404 errorI had my host do it for me.. and I still have the 404 error..
they are now telling me that the MU install is not configured correctly.. I dont have any errors telling me so.How would I check to see if the wildcare subdomain was actually done?
wouldn’t I see the “*” in as a subdomain?Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: MU in its own directory using subdomainThanks.. I understand the difference between having the core files in its own directory and the site url being different.
What I don’t understand is why give instructions to make sure that if you want to have the wp core files in its own directory to do so before activating the MU feature just to say by the way the subdomain option does not work under those conditions, later in different step. Why have that in step “0” as it is in the codex when one of the options won’t allow for that all. Just doesn’t make sense..Forum: Plugins

In reply to: editing content widths for all content areasCorrect, but using that means eliminating the side bar. I want to keep the sidebar. I need both to be just a bit wider than they already are.
so that option won’t work for me.Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the help

In reply to: removing randome google linkI actually think it has to do when I either verified my site with google or connected to my google+ profile. I’ve seen it for a while, but whenever I go searching for it I end up giving up because I can never figure it out.
