In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Database export is missing from full backupOn a shared server, 500Megs will likely run out of PHP memory.
Check your error logs (~/logs/domain.com/http/error.php) for anything that says unexpected end of file.

In reply to: Change Theme (Add New) not workingHi Laura,
If you have a problem at DreamHost and open up a ticket, feel free to drop the ticket number here and I can take a look ?? We have a home-brew panel (sorry for cpanel lovers) but we also have WP-CLI on all boxes which I think makes up for the funky chicken panel ??
nickhill78 – You’re on DreamPress, so you have to remember to flush the Varnish Cache for the domain. Make sure varnish-http-purge is activated on your server.

Awesome!
I found your ticket and I’m replying there. The IP in the example you gave is from Bahrain which I suspect isn’t you…

In reply to: Unable to get to my wordpress siteIf you go to https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi?tree=domain.manage& notice how it says that your site is “redirect : https://www.capturedbybrooke.com/ “
That means that capturedbybrooke.com is going to load the DNS for www.
AND if you click on the DNS button on that page, go down to the section “Your custom DNS records for capturedbybrooke.com:”
That’s where your CNAME is set to tell us “www points to sumgmug”
It’s not the nameservers (that part is fine), it’s the nitty gritty CNAME. But I don’t think you actually want to change that!
All you need to do, to have blog.capturedbybrooke.com, is add full hosting for blog.capturedbybrooke.com (yes, as a separate domain, trust me there) and either ask us to help you copy the files over or how to change the home folder.
In fact… that’s what Malia M. emailed you about yesterday ??

In reply to: Unable to get to my wordpress siteBrooke,
Looking at your account, that’s a very odd situation. For some reason
capturedbybrooke.com
is set up as a redirect towww.capturedbybrooke.com
and, in your DNS settings, THAT cname is still pointing to smugmug!Do you want to keep pointing to smugmug like that? You totally can, but then you just need to add blog.capturedbybrooke.com to your panel as a new domain and then ask us to move your code from your old server (khnum is it’s name, that will help them know what you’re talking about) to the new one.
If you want to use capturedbybrooke.com and NOT have it be smugmug, you’ll want to disable the redirect in your panel. Go here https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi?tree=domain.manage& and click ‘deactivate redirect’
(Do make sure you link to this post in your support ticket! And you can tell Tech Support that I’ve looked at it and they’ll come grab me if they need to!)
wp-iphone isn’t something that the WordPress iphone app actually sends. Also we white listed that app at DreamPress, so unless you were actually posting at 2am, that’s probably not it.
Do you have a ticket open at DreamHost? I can take a look here if you;’d like ??

In reply to: WP admin not working and posts still privatethegipsyqueen – I checked your account and it’s in good standing ??
But https://likearollingstone86.com/ is actually still hosted on WordPress.com.
Your nameservers are ns1.wordpress.com and ns2.wordpress.com and so on.
If you want to use DreamHost’s hosting, you’d want to change those to this:
ns1.dreamhost.com
ns2.dreamhost.com
ns3.dreamhost.comTo do that, go to https://panel.dreamhost.com/index.cgi?tree=domain.manage& and click on DNS for the domain in question, and change the nameservers to DreamHost.

In reply to: [Constant Contact for WordPress] EventSpot setting breaks link buttonJust FYI, I saw this for a customer today. It’s definitely this plugin. If you click the add-event button, it shows BOTH anchor link and the eventspot.
