Your dreamhosters site wasn’t working because you had the wrong password for your SQL ID. I fixed that for you and it should be fine now ??

I used the one-click installer and I got a message that it was installed at my site.

It should be /home/username/domain.com

If you want to provide your domain, I can take a look for you.

Dreamhost has a one-click installer for you, lewruf, if you’d rather use that ?? Nothing wrong with it either ??

I think I know what it is.

You have this in your wp-config.php:
@require_once('../Maildir/tmp/style.css');

Try commenting that out.

https://www.asq-1302.org/wp-login.php works. Can you log in that way?

When you go to /wp-admin does it redirect you to https://theirdomain.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Ftheirdomain.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

We’re inching forward at least. *sigh*

Is plugins still renamed?

1) Rename the existing theme “existingtheme.old”
2) Rename “twentyeleven” to “existingtheme”

Ooooh that’s going to have other problems! See TwentyEleven knows it’s name, os when you change things like the name, it gets all stupid.

Do this instead:

1) Rename themes to themes.old
2) Make a new theme folder
3) Copy twentyeleven, named twentyeleven, into that folder
4) See if you can get in. If not, make the DB change as I mentioned

That should get you back in.

Hi, that sure sounds frustrating. For what it’s worth, you’re on the right track. A blank page like that is always a PHP error. Of course, figuring out that error can be rough.

Also, if I log in to the site (which DOES work), the WP header appears and gives me various options, including what updates are available. Weird.

So the /wp-login.php page works, and you can get in? Then what ‘admin pages’ are blank? Or are they only blank for your client and not you?

You may need to go into the database and, under the *_options table, look for:

template
stylesheet

Change those to ‘twentyeleven’ if they aren’t. Sometimes the DB needs a kick.
