Thanks for using HR Manager Plugin, When you Request for holiday, it will exclude the weekend and include week days only, also when you select the date From to To it calculates the total number of business days in between these two dates and print count as well.
it Just display zero values in weekend and also not counting it in the holidays.

Yes it is possible to book the leave for next year 2020. just follow these steps.
1.Creat leave policy calender year 2020.
2.Leave entitlement:create leave Entitlement for year 2020 (Note: still it is showing 01-01-2019). dont worry about it.
3.At Leave Request page when you select employee and in the next dropdown (Leave Type *) select calender year 2020 and then request leave for calender year 2020.

Hi,
Please use the year filter to check 2020 policies on Leave Entitlements.It is already tested with site and created future policy applied from 01-01-2020. It will apply to all existing employee and you can see that after applying the year filter.
We are looking into this to add functionality for employee to request for next year leave.
