In reply to: [Simple Social Page Widget & Shortcode] Cannot use output bufferingHey @axwellion,
I honestly don’t spend any time on this plugin anymore, but I can point you in the right direction. I recommend visiting Facebook’s official page for the page plugin & configuring your settings there and clicking “Get Code” at the bottom.
Configure & get code here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin/
Once you have the code from them you can simply paste it into an HTML widget & it should work. The only dependency that my plugin covers is that you don’t have to have a Facebook “app” to run it. I don’t think you technically need that anymore and should just be able to paste the iframe of what they give you & it should work.
Let me know!

In reply to: [Simple Social Page Widget & Shortcode] Probably the Strangest Review Ever! That’s definitely not a normal use-case, but glad it solves your problems!
I wouldn’t worry too much about having it installed and activated just for the Facebook script enqueue. It’s coded simple by design. ??

In reply to: [Simple Social Page Widget & Shortcode] Conflict with Plugin BoxtalThey tell me that the Caldera Forms module prevents the woocommerce_loaded hook from expressing itself correctly.
This isn’t the Caldera Forms plugin support – was this an accident?
Hey @leofitz,
Thanks for reaching out & I apologize for the delay.
You can see the available settings here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin#settings
As for the speed, that depends on the response from Facebook – that is the only external script the plugin loads. In the advanced tab, you can choose to disable the Facebook SDK script – only do this if you are already loading it via your theme or another plugin.
Visit, yoursite.com /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=simple-facebook-twitter-widget
Kind regards,
Dylan

In reply to: [Simple Social Page Widget & Shortcode] The tabs parameter suppresses postsHey @mahalomarlin,
Thanks so much for reaching out & I apologize for the delay on this response.
To better assist you, do you mind sending me the exact shortcode you were attempting to use?
As for the adaptive width, it should be responsive by default. You can read more here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin#adaptive-width

In reply to: [Simple Social Page Widget & Shortcode] Border- bottomHey @androeides,
Sorry for the delay, I’ve been very busy with client work.
It appears you have figured this out. If not, then please let me know & I’d love to help. ??
It _shouldn’t_ have a border at the bottom by default, but some themes do add borders to iframe elements, so I would definitely start there if you are still seeing the issue.
Kind regards,
Dylan

Hey @piotreko70007,
Thanks so much for reaching out.
I’ve opened an issue on the plugin at Github.
I should have some time this weekend to resolve.
Kind regards,
Dylan

In reply to: [Simple Social Page Widget & Shortcode] Display FB Reviews?Hey Art,
Thanks so much for reaching out.
It doesn’t look like Facebook supports “reviews” as a display option for their Page Plugin widget.
You can see the options here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin/#page-tabs
Timeline, events, and messages appear to be your only options from Facebook – sorry. I agree, reviews would be awesome though! Social proof is always a plus.
Kind regards,
Dylan
