In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugins Not Being DisabledI figured this out. Selective plugin loading has to be turned on.
Hi, have you tested with Safari? Using 17.4.1 and Dracula 1.2.1 and the problem is still there. Site just hangs and will not load when Dark Reader is activated for the site and Dracula is active.
Another angle to this issue, this time regarding the Microsoft Edge web browser app for iOS:
On install, the Microsoft Edge browser app is set to match the iOS system setting for light/dark. On my phone that system setting is dark.
The Micorsoft Edge browser app’s dark mode also conflicts with Dracula, causing the website/page to not load.
Ok, I figured this out. I haven’t used Chrome in a while and have the “Dark Reader” browser extension enabled there. Not immediately obvious though and I had forgotten it was activated.
Dracula’s conflict with that browser extension is already known (in any browser, not just Chrome). It’s a potential problem because people who like to browse the web in dark mode, using that plugin, will not be able to access your website if it’s running Dracula. Your site will not load properly with both pieces of software active.
Would be GREAT if the Dracula team can get this conflict cleared so it’s no longer an issue.
Just confirmed a third site not loading in Chrome with Dracula enabled.
That’s great. Thank you! One more bug I’m seeing with Avada: The floating toggle switch size (small, medium, large) has no effect.
Hi Prince, glad to hear you are still around and the the plugin is back under development!
I am immediately experiencing a problem with v1.1.
I am using Safari 16.5 on a Mac. When I enable the back end dashboard dark mode (admin dark mode), the website stops working. Back end pages will not load and just hang. If I turn off the dashboard dark mode, then there is no problem. So there is some issue still with the admin dark mode. I have confirmed this on two totally different WordPress websites.
In good news, it seems there is no longer a conflict between the Dark Reader Browder plugin and Dracula Dark mode. That’s a big help!

In reply to: [Redis Object Cache] Can Someone Point Me In the Right Direction?Ah ok, so Memcached and Redis are redundant…
Nevermind, I see the add on.

In reply to: [Redis Object Cache] Can Someone Point Me In the Right Direction?Hey Till, thanks for the reply! I’m using SiteGround. They confirmed they do not offer it as a service. So, do I have any options?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - Dynamic Text Extension] Post Author email?Nevermind. CF7 already has a post email shortcode.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - Dynamic Text Extension] Post Author email?I found this in this documentation, which is what I need:
[dynamictext dynamicname “CF7_get_current_user key=’user_email’ obfuscate=’on’”]
However, it looks like I can’t use this shortcode in the “to” field on the Mail Tab in CF7. I get an “invalid mailbox syntax” error.
Hi, I’ve purchased the plugin and am looking at setting up payments. When you said, “PayPal has no extra cost, so $229/year would be the final price” did you mean that I would be using WooCommerce to do it that way?
Thanks Paolo, that makes sense and reveals a level of detail that I thought was missing ??
What a relief.
After looking at this in more depth (including speaking with support and reviewing the relevant documentation), it’s clear that some important functionality has not been integrated into the GD Avada Builder Elements. Specifically in this case, the ability to choose which fields appear in the GD > Output Location builder element (formerly would have been a widget). That’s the missing piece that would at least allow the hiding of the email output.
However, I still hold that the email display needs to show a button that open a submission form and not the actual email address.
Furthermore, trying to reconstruct the output using GD > Post Meta won’t work because that won’t display business hours in the right way.
