Simply Serious Podcasting. I see on Github that there have been improvements in the AP plugin for integrating with SSP over the last year or so, but SSP seems like a bit of a beast and has Elementor tucked away in it. I’ll have to try to reproduce the issue on a duplicate of my production site, since turning off things like SSP will break the entire purpose of the site. ??

I’ll give that a try! Now that you say that, I wonder if it’s not the podcasting plugin itself that’s “winning” on the Episode post type.

Sure thing! It was generated using Evermore: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/evermore/. My theme is a child of Twenty Fourteen. The only customizations are some CSS and changes around a custom post type (courtesy of the CPT UI plugin), but that custom post type is only used in a specific area of the site.

I bet that Evermore is the culprit here, as it’s not saving “more” links to the post, it’s dynamically inserting them. Unfortunately, just disabling the plugin doesn’t fix the entries on Mastodon. I’m working on my next blog post, though, so I might can confirm that relatively soon if you don’t.

Clearing cache hasn’t helped, and the link you provided is dead (“Error: Requested page could not be loaded.”). Perhaps you meant https://help.xyzscripts.com/?

The title inserted with this plugin refers to the title of the current post–any ideas as to how to make it display the parent post’s title?
