    Hello? Please help ??

Oh my god, so sorry for the late reply. I thought I had already answered this, my mistake.

So I checked our checkout page with both Google Tag Assistant and GTM Preview mode. Unfortunately I could not see any errors. I can just see that I have one Google Analytics tag and one Google Tag Manager. I don’t use Google Tag Assistant that often so maybe I am doing something wrong.

We have Svea Checkout for Woocommerce. Maybe that is affecting us?

OK thanks! So then I need to add the “gtm4wp_orderid_tracked” as cookie right? ?? This way people can block google tag manager tracking them?

I have another question.. this might not be the right place but I hope it’s okay that I ask ??

OK so I went through all of our wordpress pages and noticed that we had a lot of template pages published even though we were not using them. They were also being indexed my google I think. So I went ahead and turned them into drafts. I thought I would keep them as drafts just in case I want to use a specific template one day.

Now that they are unpublished, they don’t exist on the site right and cannot be indexed? ??

I am wondering if I should make /my-account to a draft page as well since we are not using that function yet, although we might in the future.

    Yes exactly.

OK yes, I wrote the question to them too and they said it was not possible.
I have done all I can now hehe, just have to leave the checkout page as it is.

Thanks again for your help ??

    Hello again!

So I talked to Svea and they checked with their developers and told me that it is not possible to add a checkbox in the checkout. It isn’t something they’re planning to do in the future either. However I was thinking the best thing I could instead is just add a link to our privacy policy in the checkout message.

So I want to change the message to this:
“By filling out this information in the checkout I accept Svea Economy’s general terms and conditions (last updated 2018-05-01), the store’s purchase conditions AND the store’s privacy policy*** (this being a link)*”

I went to edit the page, both in the WordPress editor and in our theme UX builder but the only thing I can see is a shortmessage “[svea_checkout]”. So I don’t really know how to go about to edit the text and add a link. Could you perhaps help me with this?

    Best regards,
    Isabella

    Ah okay I see!

Thanks for the tip. For now I just changed the “allow this page to be shown in search results” in the Yoast metabox to No for each specific URL. I also clicked no on “allow search engines to follow links on this page” – do you think that’s correct, or should bots be able to follow links from the checkout, cart and my account?

    Thanks for all your help!

    Best regards,

    Hello!

    Thanks for your reply.

You are right that there is some information in the checkout footer, however there is no link or checkbox/button for our company’s privacy policy.

This is what it says in our checkout:
“By filling out this information in the checkout I approve SVEA Ekonomi’s general conditions (last updated 2018-05-01) and the store’s “purchase conditions” (info about delivery, shipping, force majeure etc.).
Underneath this there is a link to “data protection policy” which is Svea Ekonomi’s privacy policy, not ours.

Above this you fill our your adress and postal code and can then click “continue”.
So there is not really a button like “I accept this”.

    OK I see, thank you.

Do I keep them in Google Search Console as errors? Or can I do something to tell Google Search Console these are not errors?

    Best regards,

    OK thanks!

I just checked GSC and all of the blog posts are now indexed! I’m so happy! Thank you all for your help!

I have 3 other submitted URL:s that are marked as no index meta tag:
    /my-account
    /cart
    /svea-checkout

But I should let it stay that way right, I don’t want those pages indexed?

    Best regards,
    Isabella

OK, let’s hope for the best then!

Hmm I havn’t really made that any changes to the blog posts once I uploaded them so that might be why Google has not indexed them, yeah that makes sense.

    Thank you for your help!

How long does it usually take for Google to check my pages after I have clicked “request indexing”?
