hmm podpress is not a filedownloader, or content protection tool.
if you want to protect your files on your blog or other sites you need role manager for wordpress, but!! if the files are hosted somewhere else all it takes is knowing the URL and you can download anything that is not protected by the server itself..

if you disabled podpress plugin and still have this error, delete post, it looks like a corrupt meta information in the database

enable preimum content in podpress general settings
then on each post with a podcast enclosure you need to change it to preimum content.

to allow users to see the preiumum content when logged in, make them a preimum subscriber in wordpress users section.

if you need more security, you might want to consider role manager for wordpress.

if you use google adsense, bitviser or other site ?? you can add the ad-code to a sidebar TEXT widget for ads on the side of your blog.
for something in you top portion, add the code to header.php where you want it and voila. Refer to the header.php used by the theme you have installed.

this is a know issue when playing mp3 files using shockwave flash esp onepixled out player. You MP3 files must be encoded at bit rates divisible by 11025.

so 11025, 22050, 44100 should work, and you must be CBR (constant bit rate).

not a podpress issue but a encoding issue with your mp3 files.

We should consider this RESOLVED.

I have seen this too many times I lost count. It seems that if the files are not hosted on the same site as the blog the getid3 scripts so not read the tags correctly, or you need to wait for the file to be completely downloaded, so the larger the mp3 file the longer it takes to read the id3 tags.
I have to make a note of all my file sizes and lenght and input them into wordpress if they were hosted off site, the files that reside on the same server as wordpress do not have this problem , you need to setup podpress to look in the correct directory for the mp3/mp4 files.

podpress is not a publication tool for wordpress. It a tool the helps you get your feed information and enclosures for iTUNES setup quicker. You either need to point to the URL of the media file, or the correct directory on the server where the file is located.

Also the chipmunk effect is because you encoded your file at a speed that is not compatable with FLASH (shockwave). you files need to be 11025hz, 22050hz, 44100hz otherwise they will sound silly ??

your web servers php memory size must be increased above the default of 8MB, its needs to be 16MB or better. Contact the webhost to make that change. This change will also help support other plugins and also web servers running mysql5 which uses more memory.

it this problem with mp3 files or ogg, video? I have seen this come up on some themes out there (too many to list here), switch to the default theme and test your blog. If you have this issue with ogg audio files or video files like quicktime its often the browser doing the doubling up.
