In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Deleted products not removed from Facebook catalogAlso, product category values don’t sync properly to Facebook. I tried to create sets based on wc product category values, but some categories don’t appear in FB. Basically the sync doesn’t seem to be working properly or at all.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect to Facebook using v2.0.1@christineskyverge, no, nothing different. Just repeated the same steps. Which, I guess, means that the issue was on FB’s end.
Thanks a lot for your support and fixing this notoriously horrible plugin :). It’s slowly becoming functional.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect to Facebook using v2.0.1@christineskyverge, I’ve managed to connect now even without reinstalling the plugin. Seems that FB changes have replicated to this account as well. Many thanks for your assistance – all is good for now.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect to Facebook using v2.0.1I’ve now managed to connect 2 sites using v2.0.1 of your plugin. However, I’m still having issue connecting the 3rd site. Maybe Facebook changes haven’t replicated to all BM accounts yet. All 3 sites and their associated assets (pixels, pages, instagram, etc) are under their own separate BM accounts. To connect the 2 sites I repeated the usual steps that previously resulted in failure, but this time mysteriously succeeded (except for 1).

Andrius@voltronik, don’t really have time for this unfortunately. For now, I’ve hardcoded the URLs to point to psw reset page. So this issue isn’t urgent anymore.
@voltronik, no, it wasn’t always the case. Started happening recently. However, unfortunately, I couldn’t identify at which point it started happening. I’m running the latest version of WP and your plugin on PHP 7.3.15.
Yes, the rest of the URL is fine. For some reason the ‘:’ gets stripped out.
I’ve already provided the URL. It’s missing the ‘:’ after ‘https’. I’m using SiteGround.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Google Conversion tracking script not firing@dvankooten, many thanks for your response. I’ve corrected my silly mistake – thanks for pointing it out. However, the event still doesn’t seem to get triggered. Any other ideas as to why?

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] API Request Error – cURL error 28Another update. I changed the store name in the plugin settings, hit resync and then got the following error:
Mailchimp says: API Request Error – on 1474 in /wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/includes/api/class-mailchimp-api.php
Mailchimp says: You must enter in a valid API key.
The API key did not change and is valid (the initial sync succeeded).
Plugin version 2.1.11

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] API Request Error – cURL error 28I’d like to 2nd @tdechangy. Why is this thread inactive and MC is not working to resolve this issue? This still prevents me from using MailChimp and I’ll eventually be forced to look for other solutions. None of the fixes outlined here solved the issue and I’m still unable to do the initial sync with MC.
UPDATE: I was finally able to sync using v 2.1.11. None of the higher versions worked.

In reply to: [URL Params] Plugin Updatesame here. any news RE future maintenance and support of the plugin?
Hi,
as I’ve noted in another thread, I’m experiencing the same issue.
Today I updated to the latest version of the plugin (v 2.1.15) and the issue persists. As someone else mentioned in yet another thread, this maybe happens due to the fact that the initial sync has to go through over 500 WC orders.
I tried after setting up the cron job – same problem. Increased memory to 512M and even 768M – same. Increased the cURL timeout – same.
The issue’s been persistent on the last three versions at least.
This stops me from using MC for this customer, because their main interest is e-commerce email automation and e-commerce related campaigns.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] API Request Error – cURL error 28@ryanhungate, I am now using the latest version of the plugin yet I experience the same problem. The initial connection after I supply an API key fails with the ‘cURL error 28’.
Regarding the cron jobs, could you please post step-by-step instructions on how to achieve this?
I am running the plugin successfully on other sites that are running the same version of WC, WP and are hosted in an identical environment. The site that fails, however, has around 500 orders to sync whereas the other sites have only a few. Could this be a matter of increasing the timeout value or smth?
