Problem solved…it was a theme problem. They just released an update.

Is it possible in the Affluent theme to show on the blog page the full articles, instead of only the excerpts? Changing this in the WordPress settings itself doesn’t seem to change anything.

thanks for working on it so fast. The color things seems to be solved. However a new thing occurred (maybe because of the color fix). When I hover over my menu now and I try to select a (flyout) menu item, I cannot select the item. The flyout item I try to select suddenly skips to the flyout menu next to it.

If you want to check it out go to https://www.itamvanteeseling.nl/blog/ and hover over the main menu item “tekst”. If you try to hover over the sub menu items beneath the “tekst” button it just automatically shows the menu items of the “video” menu next to it.

Sorry to put you back to work again ??

P.S. I will try the RSS thing later, I must have made a mistake then. Thanks for checking that out also.

I thought it was because I only show one review on the main page at a time in a widget area (limited to 250 characters, with a “read more…” button), so maybe the plugin is not fully loaded (or something, I don’t know ??

But looking at deforeman his website (which shows more reviews) that can’t be it. Unless it has something to do with the “read more…”button”.

On the normal review page I don’t have this structured data fault by the way. ( https://www.charpentier-dutchlanguagetraining.nl/reviews/ )

To which directory did you upload if I may ask? And how did you upload it?

You need to have access to your server for uploading the specific file. You can’t do this inside wordpress itself (like you would when installing a new plugin).

Instead of installing the .zip file in wordpress, you have to extract the .zip file manually on your computer. Inside this .zip you will find the file ‘seo-friendly-images.php’. Upload this file into the folder of the plugin (probably: /wordpress/wp-content/plugins/seo-image). You have to replace the existing version of this file on your server.

It might be worth mentioning that I have the following plugins installed that involve images: Lightbox 2, Resize images before upload, SEO Friendly Images, ShortPixel Image Optimiser.

Maybe it has something to do with these?
