I obviously had this issue as well with the recent upgrade. Adding this to my functions file enables the appearance of a tabbed structure across the top, but the tabs are not clickable/not operational. Is that also an expected issue?

kirkfree, are you finding that the plugin works with your child style sheet if it itself has css3 declarations?

G’day Bit51, thanks for your help with this. To answer your question i wasn’t using a non-English version. I ended up reinstalling a backup. However, when I have some time this next couple of days I will try it again, but this time I will capture the screen in video, to post if I have the same issue.

Thanks for your reply Matthew. I can see that my question wasn’t entirely clear. I would like to move the table in the source code up in between any paragraph I write (above it) and a signature block I write (below it). So my question probably should be, is there any way to find and move the tag for the table so i can put it in between other html elements. I can’t do this with html and css positioning or design until I can change the source code. Currently the tag puts the source for the table last. Perhaps it’s not possible?

@frantsch The functions.php file in the child directory should start out as an empty file. If you duplicate the original file in full you will get an error. The child functions.php file couples with the original functions.php file. WordPress will check for it in the child theme and use any functions declared there. That way you can indeed achieve your aim of keeping the original installation intact, but have changes and new functions in addition in the child.

This exact problem has me by the goolies, and a lot of other people. I’ve searched endlessly on the web and found hundreds of posts about this problem, but no satisfaction with a solution so far. I wish I knew PHP.

Gday there. I had this exact issue…surely this is not how every install begins, otherwise there would be a lot more posts about the issue. This is the only one I’ve found so far.
Thanks for the suggestion bAs but I also don’t want to use a global change like that, as I want the less-work-the-better for my rather novice users, myself included.
Did either of you find or consider another way?
