BTW When we turn off video it still shows ?? Perhaps a little bug somewhere

Anyone else reading my request: I am looking for someone with WordPress knowledge who can kindly provide support to the issue of duplicate title tags. This was suggested by Studiopress/Genesis as they say it’s a known issue.

I contacted genesis support and they say it’s not the theme and to contact WordPress Support! I am using the default Genesis SEO

Thanks for the reply. The redirects I created are working for each page. e.g.mysite.com/page1 to mynewsite.compage1

The problem is the Google is suddenly giving me loads of 404 errors to my new site on old 404 errors (some even a few years back) from my old site!1

I am using the plugin 303 redirection and the pages work fine!

I’m getting the same issue! Example my /wp-login.php shows up numerous times as a 404 error but obviously it is not! Hope somebody replies to this

OK I went to the permalinks and re-clicked on save which brought the site back up. I found some posts not working cache. Does it take a little time to build a cache?

I am also using Yoast SEO but would appreciate feedback

As it it almost the end of the year I have been going through my support posts and found I had not replied. Please accept my sincere apologies. This has now been solved as I had changed themes to another developer and those old error URL’s have gone

I found this was only on the static front page so I deleted the front page and created a new one. This deleted the code and my front page loads faster! SOLVED

Finally found the solution which I’ll share below. I am using the Gantry framework so to enable SEO Titles navigate to:

wp-content/themes/your-theme/gizmos/title.php, and edit

function isEnabled(){
return true;
}

change to

function isEnabled(){
return false;
}

Strange because I keep getting (from different title tag checkers) that I have no h1 or h2 titles recognised from the post titles! I’ve been reading through numerous forums for the last 4 hours but to be honest I’m struggling. I use All in One SEO and I’m awaiting feedback from the template developer. If I add another title within my post (at the top) and tag it h1 it gives me an SEO score hit of 100% I would have thought it should be easier to have each of my blog post titles as h1 which would look nicer that displaying 2 titles! Otherwise I have to edit every blog post and add an h1 title at the top of each post

Would really appreciate some guidance and feedback on this
