Any update on this? I’ve had to deactivate the plugin because we were getting too many spam email signups.

We are having the same issue—way too many spam signups! Any updates on this?

Same problem here! I tried to send to 828 emails, but when I published the post, the page crashed after a few minutes. The “sent report” states that all emails were sent, but my “Sent Mail” box in my email shows that only 127 were sent. I was using “send immediately” mode, as well. I am using WP 4.5 and v3.1.2 of the plugin. My email provider is Google Apps. I configured it with Postman SMTP using SMTP-STARTTLS to smtp.gmail.com:587 and OAuth 2.0 authentication. Please help!
