maybe there is unbalanced </div> in your custom text so close cross image came out of <div id=”itro_popup”> and fly away. Please check this and report us if you have resolved.
For IE problem we are still working on it.

Now in Adavanced settings is avaliable the choise of the closing cross (black, white and white with black border) and whe have changed z-index to the max one possible in a 32-bit system, to avoid problems.
