    thanks.

    ok that is the support request we’ve filled in at least 2 times now!?

    the drop down options show: technical/presales/scale../manage… Which option should we now select to try and get this sorted?

    the previous times we’ve filled in this form, it looks like it is passed onto the CedComm/Multichannel team, who have then contacted us to say “go and fill in this form”… So it looks like we’re going round in circles!?

    Initially we selected “pre sales” as the other options don’t give us a text box to fill in the details of our request.

    i hope we can get the refund sorted. The software service has huge issues for us and it’d be pretty poor if we’re paying for a service that 1. Is inefficient 2. We chose not to use after the 7;day trial period. We are still in the 30 day period however.

    one if the main issues is that it took 30+ hrs to sync stock from WC to eBay. Pretty poor!

    support running on Indian timescales wasn’t helpful neither.

    support making changes to the site and installing things without prior consent was also too casual and approach. Amongst other issues…!

    Hence the reason for refund request.

    look forward to hearing from you as to which of the 4 options we should select on the support form to ensure it goes to the right place and is dealt with swiftly.

    Cheers!

    thanks for your message.

    that’s why I’m rather baffled.

    Looks like, because I have to select which product I’m contacting about ( multichannel) , cedcomm is receiving the enquiry. Who then say go back to Woo com and ask there!?

    so it’s going round in circles!

    No worries thank for the effort in getting back to us.

    maybe I was mistaken as without the PWB plugin there are no options for brand banner, logo etc so I assumed it was related to the plugin.

    I’ve fixed it however.

    cheers.

    hi!

    the above snippet was added to functions.

    caches cleared etc. however the featured product label still shows “featured” as opposed to “Free delivery”.

    have I made a boober somewhere? Should it be lowercase?

    thanks again for your help and support

    much appreciated! ??

    Thanks!

    I’ve added :

    add_filter(‘woocommerce_featured_product’, ‘custom_featured_text’);

    function custom_featured_text($text) {
    return ‘FREE DELIVERY’; //
    }

    Will I need to clear and refresh cache to see this in action.

    Really appreciate your help!

    HI,

    Had this same issue.

    Do the fixes above “just work” – i.e I wont have to change all existing links to the brand pages? etc?

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks

    Can confirm it is not a cahce issue: Issue here in more detail: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/brand-pages-returning-404-error/

    Apparently they’re working on a fix ??

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay.

    Please see image in this link: https://imgur.com/a/mMdWw1o

    The front end label “featured”

    The backend WC products dashboard where we can select featured.

    Thanks for your help and support.

    hi

    thanks for your reply.

    Ive had a look at the threads for PWB.

    from what I gather, and I could be wrong, I think the latest WC update uses the same taxonomy (?), as the PWB plugin and this causes issues.

    Lol I guess they are the smaller fish here and I will perhaps have to wait for them to update their plugin, to be compatible with the latest WC version and avoid the issues of two things using the same “brand” terms?

    thanks again, I’ll keep checking there too to see if there’s any update.

    cheers!

    Phew!

    Ok lol I wont be doing the mucky hacky stuff to get it to work, I’ll await the new update!

    For the moment I rolled WC back to 9.5 and all is fine.

    Is there an estimate as to when the next plugin update will be?

    HI,

    Thanks for your response!

    Great I’ll ask my question there ??

    “By default, WooCommerce has no connection to eBay. Are you using an extension for that? If so, it’s best to ask this question to the extension developer.” Sorry maybe I wasn’t clear – how does the Multi Channel Extension deal with out of stock items at source. i.e item becomes out of stock on WC. Does it also automatically end on eBay?

    Thanks again for your help and support !

    (@itsmefti)

    oh, 1 question was how does it deal with out of stock items from the source store (Woocommerce).

    i.e if out of stock at source, will the item end on the output channel eBay?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for getting back to me !

    Aha, the theme support also suggested this – but isn’t this a translator plugin?

    I simply need to change that one word on labels? Surely amended a tiny bit of code in the theme files would be better, simpler, less bloaty? Also I only want to change the ‘featured’ product labels, would the translation plugin not change ALL instances of the word ‘featured’ throughout the whole site?

    Thanks again

    thanks!

    yes I’ve had look at better search and replace. I’m unsure about the “real time replace”… Replaces before loading on viewers side… Does this get picked up by search engines the same as a “hard” replace?

    if the real time replace has the same impact for SEO and search engine purposes great! I’ll explore further!

    thanks again, really appreciate it ??

    thanks for your message.

    yes, for the meantime I don’t think we have the time right now to do the testing. Lol we’re quite frustrated at having to “fix stuff” that takes hrs or days at every other update!

    i see a lot of issues with woo and stripe post update (here and in other forums) and have been fortunate not to have had these, but this time we have the issues. I think we’ll have to continue with what’s working (PayPal) and maybe wait until the usual extra version that fixes things is released.

    Thanks again ??
