Hi everyone, few weeks later is the issue fixed and is it possible to update TranslatePress – Business 1.4.6 and TranslatePress – Multilingual 2.8.7 ?

Same issue + TranslatePress ask to update database. I tried on staging site and it is not working with business 1.4.1 needs business 1.4.2

I Robin, I am lost, email link goes to login on staging site but page 404 on the main. Did you do something I don’t know on the staging when you had admin pass ?

Please let me know, that make me crazy !

First point : on the staging login goes to a new topic after login and goes to the reply after login too

Second point : on the main it’s not that easy to make test because I don’t want to bother members. They already receive so many emails… staging site is supposed to avoid that ??

Hi Robin, good news for you not so good for me:

I ran some tests again on staging and almost everything works !

1) A new user who is registered and subscribed to the forums by default receives a notification for a new topic created by another user.

2) he receives follow-up notifications if he subscribes to the topic

3) If already logged in, auto-access to the forum topic from email link

4) if not logged in previously, no more 404 but no automatic access to the forum after logging in following email link

I don’t understand why main site doesn’t run that way…

Hi Robin, I have to check better because emails notifications take more time than before to come I think, at least on the test site… auto login still not working

It looks like on the main site subscribers I registered by default as new members never received emails from forum…

Thing is, I have 2 new members and at least one (I don’t know about the other) do not receive emails from forum or topic. On the other hand I received email error and I was wondering…

Hi Robin, as you know I recently used admin subscription to make all members subscribers to all forums and new user by default. It looks to be working but it also looks like new user don’t receive email when new topic is open. it looks like there a loop. It looks like noreply is both Final-Recipient and Original-Recipient… problem

That is good news because members complain about it… most of time they follow the link in email not been connected first ….

of course ! it’s already nice to think it’ll be possible to avoid the 404 page …

“and say what exact settings you made on which tab” I am not sure what you ask : I am talking about bbp Style Pack > Settings > Subscription e-mail > ?Activate Auto Login > login using specific page > main URL…………/login/

I tried also also > main URL……../newpage with short code [bbp-login]

Hi Robin, I tried WordPress Login and then bbPress with page URL site…/login/

for example email notification link : https://test-adp.ikariotiko.com/fr_fr/forums/topic/test-4-auto-login-url-perso/

I found the way using TranslatePress, need to select the link and go to editing by clicking on the small pencil… good to know

I open a new topic and close that one as resolved…
