In reply to: [Hueman] How to use static page and featured postsHello! I would like this feature as well, specifically to have the featured posts in a slideshow on a static homepage. I have a child theme. I was actually able to accomplish this with a prior version of Hueman, but my approach no longer seems to work. Anyone have suggestions?
Thanks!
I actually don’t see any fields for URLs on that page. Maybe I’m not looking at the right place… my settings URL is https://www.examplesite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event&page=events-manager-options#bookings; is that the page you meant?
Thanks!
Nevermind… this looks more like a bug with Jetpack Protect. Disabled it and the issue went away.
I am using a child theme. So to test, I copied the template to Twenty Fifteen (‘/wp-content/themes/twentyfifteen/plugins/events-manager/templates/forms/bookingform/login.php’) and enabled that theme, but it still didn’t kick in.
FYI, I’m changing the word ‘Username’ to ‘Email Address’ on that login form. It looked pretty straight forward in the template, but just in case there is something affecting when that template kicks in, I thought I’d mention it.
Except for fatherb, sausb and me on this thread ?? Would be awesome if possible, but I know how busy you all are. Thanks for your input!
I just tried pasting that into a text widget and placing the widget on the event page, but the map does not load. It just reads ‘#_LOCATIONMAP’.
Thanks caiman_nwl! I’m not sure that the less technical people who would be creating these events would really understand how this would have to work (and in my case, they wouldn’t use this every day, so even if they made it work, they’d likely forget later on). We’re planning to just make it work with single events for now (including start and end dates) and including the days on which it occurs in the title (for example, ‘Pottery Class – Wed/Fri Evenings’).
Is there any chance that feature for single bookings for events with multiple non-consecutive dates is planned?
BTW, thank you for providing this awesome module and the support! You guys are awesome!
Yes, thanks!
yes. sorry ??
Thinking that the title should be changed to ‘Make Location Map available as a widget’…
I’m interested in a feature like this as well. I’m thinking for things like a recurring pottery class or workshop that maybe meets once a week for a few months. sausb mentioned 3 separate bookings, but in my case, we’d want just one booking for an event that occurs on several days.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Hueman] Slider breaks in Google ChromeThank you! That led me down a path that ultimately made me try updating Flexslider from 2.2 to 2.4, which fixed the problem! However, I had to replace the flexslider files in my parent Hueman theme; putting them in the child theme’s ‘js’ folder didn’t seem to override the call to flexslider in the parent theme. Is there a better way?
Thanks so much!

In reply to: [Hueman] Slider Not Working in ChromeHi Jan,
So sorry! Every time I posted, it immediately disappeared, so I thought my posts just weren’t saving. Didn’t mean to re-post so many times.
Will open a new topic, thanks!

In reply to: [Hueman] Slider Not Working in ChromeI’m experiencing this same thing (and so is a client now) where the slider controls don’t work. I’m using Chrome Version 42.0.2311.90 m (64-bit), and I’m also on Windows 8.1. It’s like something is triggered in Chrome or the OS that causes the slider to stop working wherever I see it (on my site AND on https://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman, just like Josh experienced). Also like Josh, it works fine in any other browser.
I don’t see any errors in the webdev tools console.
Is the flexslider on this theme based on the WooThemes FlexSlider (https://www.woothemes.com/flexslider/)? If so, it’s interesting to note that the demo on their site does work for me.
