In reply to: [GeneratePress] Spacing between tagline and logoMany thanks Tom. Even a technical dumbo like myself has managed to follow your instructions.
It’s probably a daft question but where can I get hold of the earlier version of update.php as all of the links here seem to point to the current version of WordPress

In reply to: [Brunelleschi] Brunelleschi Header won't show up!The trouble is that I rather liked the theme and the problems only arose when I updated it from 1.5.9 to 1.6.5 which is why I solved my own problem by simply going back to 1.5.9
It isn’t an ideal solution but if the author is no longer supporting his theme it will have to do until I find another theme that I like as much

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] [Theme: Twenty Twelve] nav bar fails in IE8My previous theme failed for some reason and I installed Twenty Twelve as I rather liked the look of it. I’m not a techie and it’s only when I asked a friend to get rid of the menu icon that I found out that only IE users were seeing that.
My biggest problem though is that whilst I like the openness of the theme in IE it looks completely different in Firefox and Chrome and I don’t really like it’s boxed in look.
Looking at my site stats it seems that over 50% of my readers use IE so it’s a shame that the developers haven’t tested it properly despite their claim that “it looks great on any device.”
