this cannot be achieved without editing the sourcecode of the homepage. You will have to register and apply a new widget area to the sourcecode of index.php

you should really read into using WordPress. Adding a Porfolio is so easy: Add your Portfolio items through WP-Admin (Menu item: Portfolio). Add a new page and choose “Portfolio” as template. Nothing more to do..

If you have added images before activating WP-Creativix you will have to install wp regenerate thumbnails – Plugin and regenerate your thumbnails to make them fit the slider.

Sorry ?? Don’ really understand.. Maybe a Problem regarding your PHP-Settings (post-max-size) which lead to not saving the menu anymore..

currently you can only choose how to order posts being shown within the slideshow (e.g. by “date”). For a workaround you could adjust the dates so that they fit your “custom” order.
