So, I decided I’d just eliminate those emails (converted them to mailchimp which I wanted to do anyway) and manually post to FB which was an easy enough work around. But then I had a problem with it not keeping my original URL when i republished. I’m guessing I inadvertently hit a wrong options (clone vs repost or something–it also changed all the dates on the comments it brought along). But since I’ve had two bad experiences now, I’m just going to delete this. Great idea but probably not ready for prime time.

I also use Jetpak to post to FB which I just realized was also wrong.

The other issue with summary is that I lose my image (appearing before the more tag but excluded in summary) which is part of the draw to visit the blog.

Okay it’s all coming back to me. Summary is different from using Full with the more tag. Full with the more tag stops the email in the logical place set by the more tag. I believe Sumaary goes with something arbitrary like 25 words or ???. So I think this problem isn’t actually as simple as changing the setting.

Mine had also been reset from Summary to Full, so I changed it back. Thanks for the insight. Fingers crossed!

This has just happened to me too. Whole post appears in my Jetpack emails. The emails that mailchimp sends are just fine. https://artofnaturalliving.com. This worked fun on Sunday but not yesterday.

If you are using the wordpress for mailchimp plugin, download the updated version which corrected this problem for me.

I am having the same problem (first error only). On the free version of mailchimp so no support… The emails were working fine through Mar 31.

Yes, it is still a problem, though I worry it is more on Yummly’s end since I have had problems with their bookmarklet too. But it would make my day to have this working. Thanks for your response!

Okay I was wrong here. THe bookmarklet will show the image in the popup (which the plugin doesn’t) but it didn’t actually get saved.

I should note that some posts work completely fine. Thanks.
