Update my host has cleaned the files and site is working again. I had to purchase a service for them to clean the files (site lock)

hopefully this will protect me from getting attacked again.

i tried to install a backup and now all i see is a blank white screen. i am able to login to wp site and when i edit a page I see no test except red scribbly lines where i was thought to be misspelling. If I rightclick and highlight the area where text would be I see the text. Really lost at this point

Thank you for answering. I do not recall doing any editing. The problem was resolved by disabling the WP file manager and Jetpack. Not sure how they became corrupted. I deleted the Jet pack and reinstalled it and am not using the WP file manager any more. All working again

anyone? Is this in the wrong area? PLEASE HELP

try turning off PHOTON in the jet pack if on. I had the same problem. When I deactivated photon it reappeared. Photon must not be purging old photos.

ok i think maybe I am not explaining what I am trying to achieve. I want the “RAW” code to appear not converted to html. So I want to see the code not the product of the code.

Thanks for the reply i went to your site and it was the contact page I didn’t see raw code there wasn’t a side bar i could see.

Ok so I went through each item in jetpack and started deactivating them and found it is the module PHOTON that was causing this. so i activated all but photon and the logo is still working!

I hope this helps anyone else with this

I deactivated jetpack by wordpress and it is now showing up again. So i reactivated to test and it stopped again. Deactivated and it appeared again. I didn’t authorize jetpack but will try that and see if it fixes. If not well I guess i will delete it.
