I’m using Cyber Chimps Ifeature Pro theme… using the above did fix the problem, but every time the theme has an update (which is biweekly) it revets back, I’ve given up trying to keep up with it.

I’d like to see this too… Right now my userbase is small enough that this isn’t an issue, but its always nice to give the users the functionality to let them opt in &out as soon as they decide to have it that way.

I’d have to agree with everything you posted. I tried out this tonight to bring in my church’s calendar (an ical subscription) but not being able to override the event details just killed it for me. Makes this plugin absolutely useless.

As far as I can tell, if that doesn’t work its time to ask the host for their latest back-up if you don’t have one of your own to work from.

you shouldn’t be uploading anything. You are going to rename a folder that is already there to get you your admin panel access back.

1.Via FTP navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
2.Via FTP rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
3.Login to your WordPress administration menus (/wp-admin)
4.Via FTP rename “plugins.hold” back to “plugins”

From the admin panel Settings > Reading > “Static Page” select the page you wish to view from the front page.

I doubt that will let you into the admin panel… I’m thinking you will have to default to the parent theme, using ftp. And go from there.

My advice will only change the name of the label, it won’t change which page it directs to.

To physically make it a different page, you’d have to select the one you wish to delete, expand the the box, click remove, then in the lower left-hand corner, select the page you wish to add to the menu board, and then click “add to menu” It will add it to the bottom of the menu list, but you can drag to place it where you want it to be.

Try going through you admin panel > appearance > Menu > click “News” and it should expand. Where it says “navigation label” change it to “Home”

Then you need to disable your plug-ins and troubleshoot them one at a time…

Following Esmi’s advice should get you your access back.

I had the same problem with ifeature pro, I just made “open in a new window” unavailable as an option. Is there a fix for this?
