In reply to: Google search results – how to changeI have a premium plan and it looks like I would need to upgrade to the business plan to install plugins. Do you know of any workarounds to change the site description in the Google results without plugins?
Thanks again,

In reply to: 3.4.1 > 3.8.3 is it a big jump? any tips?here’s the update on the update –
backed up everything
Clicked on the auto update and the update message wouldn’t go away:
“Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.”searched an found a message to remove a hidden file “.maintenance”
After removing the file and refreshing, I received a message to update the wordpress database.
I then proceeded to updating the plugins and the theme (after creating a child-theme).
In the end it’s all working and updated.

>But you really should not run outdated versions of WP anywhere
I agree, but unfortunately I need a 2 week overlap to convert to the 3.5.1 compatible themed site.

Are those posts still valid for a current installations? and therefore there should not be any problems?
