Wherever category selection option will be available, this plugin will work there.
If there is no category selection option, it won’t bother you.
If your custom post type have categories and you don’t want this plugin to work there, then let me know. We can further modify this

Screenshots doesn’t belong to this plugin. There must be changes made to core files of wordpress. That is why you are in trouble.

In reply to: [WP QRCode Widget] Cannot uninstall WP QRCodeThere should not be any problem in installing or uninstalling in this plugin. After installation, it will be available under Appearance->Widgets and you can uninstall it under plugins->Installed Plugins section.
If still problem persists, open your file manager in cpanel, move to the following folder:
root -> wp-content -> plugins
From plugins folder, delete wp-qrcode-widget directory.
After deleting the folder, log in to dashboard of the wordpress website. WP QR CODE will be automatically uninstalled.
