In reply to: [Creative Contact Form] Ugly, doesn't work.I use this product exactly because of it’s appearance. I used the Pro version, which has a “view live” color adapting feature. I was able to match it exactly to my site’s theme in less than 3 minutes.
This contact form fits my site and my needs perfectly.
BTW, I had a question, and got a reply which solved it within 24 hours. This company’s tolerance of a complete noob like me is amazing.

In reply to: embed video with 3.9.1I was able to get a working embed as follows:
Any try to get “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtKF4H20NeA&feature=related” in the post by itself or to go inside an embed tag did not work per my post above.
I went to the Youtube website, and got an actual embed URL from the video. Once I pasted “<iframe width=”640″ height=”390″ src=”//www.youtube.com/embed/7A5Zi4veaw8″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>” into the post, it shows normally.
This is a vanilla install with no plugins active. It’s a course in WordPress, so it’s very basic.
Maybe someone with deeper knowledge can explain to the rest of us why the first URL would not result in a working video, and why the embed tags kept “spitting out” the first URL.

In reply to: embed video with 3.9.1I found one thing that may be the cause.
If I use the text section of the editor, I can see that the closing embed code tag is being put right after the open tag rather than at the end of the URL. Even if I manually put it back to where it belongs, when I switch to the visual editor it changes the closing tag again.
With all due respect, that’s a bug, not a feature.

In reply to: Clean Install Fails to Save PostThanks Tara!
That did not make a difference. There are regular ASCII characters carriage returns and line feeds in the text.
I cleared my cache as part of the previous troubleshooting attempts.
