In reply to: [PowerPack for LearnDash] ProblemThanks for your report! This is now resolved with our latest version 1.1.1 ??
If you have any problems let us know.
Thanks!
Thanks Jan, noted for the future. ??
@barbarbox, please follow the below to get this setup as needed and of course if you need any help, just open a topic. ??
1) First of all, you’ll need to ensure that you have enabled the post type that has the custom field or metadata you want to search. This is done via Ivory Search > Search Forms > Edit > Includes > Post Types. In this post type accordion, set the post type you want to search, such as products, listings etc.
Please see this screenshot; https://d.pr/i/EHQuaD
2) Once that is done, you can then set the custom field to search. This is done via Custom Fields on the same page as above. For example here we can see the total_sales custom field to include in the search.
Any questions at all, let us know. Thanks!
Hi there @barbarbox,
In the description we mention that you can search posts that have specific custom fields or search by meta data which is true.
Then in the Pro bullet points we mention the option whereby you can exclude speciifc custom fields/meta data.
This is the key difference, in free. You can only set what data to include for that certain type, in Pro, you can set includes and excludes for that data set.
We’d be more than happy to help if you have any problems, or if options are incorrectly showing as locked when they shouldn’t be, please open a new topic here https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/add-search-to-menu/ and we’d be happy to assist. ??
Thanks!
Note to Mods; modlook added, due to inaccurate review, that mentions one specific feature being locked, when it is actually included as mentioned in the readme file.
Hi Pietro!
Sorry for the confusion, based on your original message it appears that you’re having issues with the output of the “manage your subscription” page generated by MailPoet correct?
In that case, what I was asking was for you to create a new page and add the above mentioned shortcode to it and seeing how that outputs.
If I’ve got the issue wrong or you are experiencing a different issue all together let me know and I’d be happy to help. ??
Hi Carlos!
You can use a free screencapture software/management tool such as Monosnap or Snagit and post the link to the image in a reply.
Thanks!

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] users statisticsHi Flavio,
If you’re a premium subscriber, MailPoet offers direct email support via their website here: https://www.mailpoet.com/support/premium/
Thanks!
Thanks for the additional info @madmanweb!
I’ve run some tests and you have a whitespace both before and within your activation link according to the output email content. This is most probably what’s breaking it.
Can you try removing the current Sign-up confirmation email text and then typing a new one including the shortcode without copying and pasting anything. I’m confident then that everything will work as it should. ??
Thanks!
Hi Agustin,
Out the box MailPoet collects emails, first name and last name. You’d need to extend the default fields for the forms, then write a custom integration between your Contact Form 7 add-on and MailPoet to pipe the information to the correct row in the database.
This isn’t something that’s offered out the box.
Thanks!
Hi there @willemb2,
If you have the latest version of MailPoet installed in the corner of every page should be a question mark icon. Like this: https://monosnap.com/file/iWTyLdJcu0OG6ZASXqkLpRIwrmPB5r#
Click that and enter a question, hit enter. Then you’ll be presented with an option to send a message directly to the MailPoet team.
Thanks!
Hi there @aquasound,
That’s very odd! Have you already setup MailPoet 3 or is this the first time setting it up on a new install?
When you say “click to go back to subscribers” are you using the navigation in your browser or are you clicking “Subscribers” under the MailPoet menu in your wp-admin?
What happens if you try and visit the subscribers link directly such as:
https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mailpoet-subscribers
Thanks!

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] users statisticsHi there Flavio,
Detailed statistics are part of MailPoet premium, you can find out more in your wp-admin by clicking “MailPoet > Premium”.
Thanks!
Hi there @madmanweb,
I’ve just tested this with the latest release and everything is working correctly for me with:
[activation_link]Confirm your subscription.[/activation_link]
Could you paste the info from “MailPoet > Help > System Info” please? Also can you provide a link to a page where I can make a test signup.
Thanks!
Hi there @jodokuskwak,
On Strato hosting there’s usually a trailing semicolon at the end of the define for the database connection in your wp-config.php.
Try removing that and it should work then. For example:
define('DB_HOST', 'example.strato.de:');
becomes
define('DB_HOST', 'example.strato.de');
Then everything should connect correctly.
Thanks!

Hi there @jinalchavda,
Are you using SMTP to send your MailPoet emails? This particular issue is ultimately as you’re using an email address you don’t own to send the emails (Gmail).
Because you’re using a Gmail address you can’t setup the correct SPF records that authorize your domain with your sending (from) email address.
Take a look at this guide for further info: https://beta.docs.mailpoet.com/article/151-email-authentication-spf-and-dkim
Thanks!
Hi Chris,
Could you post the info from MailPoet > Help > System Info please? I’d recommend removing the actual email addresses themselves as this is a public forum.
James, I’d recommend starting a new post as even though the issue may seem the same, oftentimes the underlying cause is completely different.
Thanks!
