Jack.Hi there,
Sorry for the delay with a reply.
As my colleague said, you’d need to look at building your own thickbox script and replacing the default one provided by WordPress, unfortunately that is the only way currently it can be modified.
Thanks!

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] images disappearHi there,
Thanks for your question, were the images being uploaded via the plugin on the front-end? The main activity feed do they disappear from?
Can I have a link to the page in question please?
Please advise.
Thanks!

Jack.Hi there Paul,
Thanks for your question.
I’ve never personally used GTmetrix myself before, what does Pingdom Tools say if you run it through that? https://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
Please advise ??

Jack.Hi there,
Sorry for the extreme delay on this.
Which theme are you using? Maybe if they are in the upload folder, do they still appear in the media library?
If they do, you could run them through the smush.it and then regenerate thumbnails, using something like this here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Thank you!

Jack.Hi there,
Sorry for the delay here.
Smush.it may have been down or possibly the images trying to be uploaded are too large, how large are the images?
I believe it’s most likely that smush.it was down, but it’s worth double checking ?? Also does it work now? I have testes this just now on my install and it’s working (settings and smushing)
Thank you!
Kind Regards
Jack.Hi there,
Thanks for the additional information, are you using a CDN (Content Delivery network) at all?
As they aren’t compatible with the smush.it plugin, please advise.
Thank you!

Jack.Hi there,
Thanks for your question.
I’m afraid smush.it has a limit of 1MB for images to smush and it can’t smush images over that currently. Sorry about this, the images would need to be smaller to be smushed.
Thank you!

Jack.Hi there,
Thanks for bringing this up, I have tried to replicate but have been unable to.
This message indicates that somewhere on your installation a php file outputs headers before its time.
You can solve this issue by following the process below:
Switch your theme to the default twentytwelve theme and deactivate all other plugins except the Smush.it plugin.
You should now see that this error no longer exists.
To find out which plugin/theme triggers this issue, start activating them one-by-one and test again.
Finally, activate your previously selected theme.Next, you’ll have to inspect the files of the plugin that triggers this error.
Open all php files one by one and check for the following:
If there is a space or blank line before the opening <?php tag on the file, delete those spaces or lines.
If there is a closing ?> tag at the end of the file, delete it.
As stated in the PHP docs,
The closing tag of a PHP block at the end of a file is optional, and in some cases omitting it is helpful when using include or require, so unwanted whitespace will not occur at the end of files, and you will still be able to add headers to the response later. It is also handy if you use output buffering, and would not like to see added unwanted whitespace at the end of the parts generated by the included files.
Please advise, if this fixes the issue.
Thank you!

Jack.Hi there,
Thanks for asking, I’m afraid you can’t un-smush an image, smushing simply removes the useless bits of a file and makes the file smaller in size for the web and once it’s done, you can’t reverse/undo the smush.
Thank you!
Kind Regards
Jack.Hi there,
Sorry for the delay you’ve had here.
I’m afraid out of the box it wouldn’t be possible to set a cron job to do a full smush.
Thank you!

Jack.Hi there,
Sorry for the delay here.
Are you able to smush images when adding them to the media library directly? Or do you still receive the same error.
What sort of hosting do you have?
Thanks!

Jack.
