In reply to: Visual Editor / Page Edit Not Working in 4.7.4Yeah, finally. Just a heads up for anyone tethering using PdaNet, don’t hide your tethering or you won’t be able to use the tabs…..

In reply to: Visual Editor / Page Edit Not Working in 4.7.4So…. I found the issue. It turns out to be a problem with the way I connect to the internet. Which I have no idea on how that would affect it. I connect using my phone as a usb based connect. For some reason when I connect through there the problem occurs. But if I use a differe wifi or something it’s just fine.
I have no idea why or how this is a problem, but…

In reply to: Visual Editor / Page Edit Not Working in 4.7.4Yours may actually be an issue that is solvable. In my search on solving this issue, I found that under your user profile there is a check box at the very top that lets you turn your visual editor on and off. If that works for you and you are on the latest WordPress please let me know. Then that means I’m alone in this even though it’s on every website I log into

In reply to: Visual Editor / Page Edit Not Working in 4.7.4I’m having a similar issue since the update. The tabs for Visual and Text are completely gone. I can only edit in html format. As a matter of fact, that’s all I see here too, not Visual tab.
Forgot to mention, I’ve tried on many different sites, some with plugins and some without. Changed the theme and everything normal to see if it was an issue with the themes or plugins, but it happens with the basic wordpress theme and fresh install.

In reply to: [Meal Planner Pro Recipes] 7.0 Meal Planner Pro VersionHello Commodore,
Her website does look great. She is always working on it. I’m actually her web guy. Front end and general maintenance, and solution finder. I’m not as php oriented as I’d like, but I can if I spend the extra time.
Unfortunately the issue is when submitting a comment you are given this error. I’m wanting to see if you are familiar before I dove into it.
I have modified the beginning of the path here to just show the relevant path.I have installed the latest version. I even deleted all old file and uploaded clean ones after initially reading this post.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Redirect to thank youI was looking for the solution forever till it occurred that the admin has its own script and has interfered with other things before.
I’m glad that my response helped, and I hope that it helps others.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Redirect to thank youI had the exact same issue.
I have found two things. If you are logged into WordPress and have the Admin bar active on the site, it will interfere with the form redirect.
Also I was using bootstrap shortcodes, which was for some reason messing with the redirect as well.
I would definitely suggest looking at the scripts your plugins are using and maybe even checking the scripts your theme is using.

I wondering if it might be a setting set in the browser itself

In reply to: IE Doesn't Show Sites ProperlyThank you for your response and advice.
Let me clarify a bit more. While validation is a good point, and yes there are a couple of validation error that can be fixed. None of the issues for validation are actually effecting the issues that arise in IE, such as images not loading. When an image is opened in a tab, I do not get the image located at the link specified. Instead I get the code that would probably make up the image.
I suppose, what I am wondering is if there is an issue with the current version of WP that is causing these issues with IE. An example of this issue happening with the twenty twelve theme can be seen here https://testing.jeremycote.net
