I’m also having a similar problem ( I’m just using Mamp though and installing to localhost). Everything runs error free with the installation, but when I try to visit the site I just get a white screen.
I’ve followed this tutorial step by step https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFe6lz8p7aQ&feature=youtu.be – although I haven’t created a user for the database – ive just entered the username and password as ‘root’ as per the video instructions. Could this be part of the issue?
My other guess was that the updated file paths could be wrong but as far as I can tell they were all correct.
The duplicate worked perfectly going from local to live, just cant seem to get it working the other way around.
Any help with troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
