In your StyleSheet, change the div of class that the brackets to:

#class li{ list-style-type:square;}

I think this is what you’re looking for. If it’s not, maybe you shoul dpost a link so people could see what you mean!!! good luck!

wow, your site has a great look. Like the others have said, it looks very clean and professional.

If i were to change something about it, i would remove the “meta” section from the sidebar. If you want to log in, you can just type the address in the address bar, or bookmark it! I think that if users can’t sign up for the site, there is no use for that option as a link on the site.

If you look at my site, you can see how i “hid” mine. you can move your mouse to the very top-left of that thin black bar containng my feeds. thats where my login/out link is, but since it matches the background, readers can’t see it but I have easy access to it knowing it’s there!

First off, polite never comes with rude sarcasm. If you didn’t like the way I ran my threads, you could have just sent me an email instead of attempting to belittle me in a thread that I started asking for feedback.

Yes, my previous posts linked to my main site, BUT at those times I was using different themes, and different content. That is the type of confusion that I was trying to avoid by starting a new thread- I had changed my theme. Both times I started a new one was for feedback on different material. Reading into those older threads would just cause confusion.

I come to these forums for the same reason that everyone else does, and it’s for help. If you aren’t going to help me than please don’t respond to my threads…

And here is some advice from the “college boy??… month, when pluralized is spelled “months??, and not “monthes??. Also, Significant is spelled just as it is pronounced… not ‘signifigant’. I think I spelled it like that in third grade…

Lastly, I couldn’t care any less about what gender you are, big guy.

the other two were about two different themes, and when people read the old comments, it wouldnt make sense. ALSO, when people see posts with lots of responses, they tend to not read through all of them and give their input. I think its ok to start a new thread if its about something different.

PS. you started two different threads in the misc. section this past week big guy. you’ve also started 13 threads overall, which means that you have definitely started more than one thread in each section.

thats odd, what code did ou use to put the fash in the post. it should work…

well you could open up index.php in a text editor, and comment out the part of the WordPress loop that links to comments.

If you ever decide to want comments, you can just lift the comment-code opening and close, or you could link to the comments in the post yourself.

OK, I see the problem now… when you click on the “comments>>” link, it just changes the address bar to “https://www.noordkopwaterpolo.com/#respond” no matter what post you click on. Instead, you need to edit your index.php file so that when someone clicks on the comments link, it links to “https://www.noordkopwaterpolo.com/?p=%5BPOST NUMBER]#respond”.

Here is how to do it…

Change whatever code you currently have in your theme as the comments link to: <?php comments_popup_link(‘No Comments »’, ‘1 Comment »’, ‘% Comments »’); ?>

That should solve all of your problems. If you have trouble understanding my directions, just post again and I’ll see it.

You should have two files in your “theme” folder. The first is comments.php and the second is single.php. Without them, no one will be able to post comments to your site.

hmm is the search supposed to search comments too? i’ll have to work on that.. yeah, the elected is a slightly different sound. I’m searching for Brandi Carlile now!
