In reply to: Feedback WelcomeI like it, but there is no border. I think it would look better if there was something containing the content. Even a background would help!

In reply to: Funny Blog Designthe animated header gets a bit annoying. and i don’t like how the page is displayed completely on the left. i would prefer the content to be at the center of the screen because thats where i want to look!

In reply to: BrightFalls.comvery nice.
a minor suggestion that i have is to have the “menu” hover image preload. there is a slight pause on the first hover while the image loads. just a minor pet peeve of mine!

In reply to: Photoblog of Chinatakes a real long time to load on a high speed connection. for a photoblog, i suggest using a theme that only displays one post on the homepage. this way it only has to load one image, and it will load much, much faster..

In reply to: custom headerlook in the images folder in k2. find the header image and note the dimensions. Make your header image those same dimensions, and then replace the k2 image with yours.
k2 may not have its own header image. in this case, just note the dimensions of the header. Make an image that fits these dimensions. add this image to the images folder. then in the stylesheet under header, add this to the end:
background:url(images/headerfile.extension) 0 0 no-repeat;

In reply to: How do I display blog within my website’s shell?wordpress blogs use themes. a theme is essentially a template, or what you are calling a “shell”, that allows wordpress code.
you can change this template to something that you make yourself. In your situation you would want to use your current site template and incorporate wordpress code using the guidelines here. since you already have the template, this is very easy if you just take the time to read the wordpress documentation.
