The /wp-content/debug.log file contains hundreds or thousands of these errors:

In reply to: Using blocks always burns meThere may be a clue here: Often, when I click “edit” to work on a post/page, I see the following message which is clearly spurious (from my point of view): “The backup of this post in your browser is different from the version below.”

In reply to: [Aspose.Words - Import and Export word documents] Throws fatal errorI should have mentioned that I have the latest version: 5.0.0.
In other news, there was a message near the top of the plugins page that prompted me to upgrade the API key (I think that was the message) which I did. That stopped the fatal error behavior. However, the downloads are still named from a very old post which happens to be the last one listed in the All Posts display of the All Posts pulldown selection of the Posts link in the dashboard. The download is named the same as the slug for that post: why-this-blog.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Postie] Recommended email service providersThanks for the immediate reply! So I guess my question is “Is there a way to get Postie (hosted on GoDaddy) to connect with any email service provider?

In reply to: [Postie] GoDaddy won’t fix my cPanel-created account MX recordOf course. So there is an unsurmountable problem between Postie and GoDaddy workspace email accounts?

In reply to: [Animate It!] Change image upon animationOK, thanks. I understand.
So if I select a previously animated object and click the red animate it button, you can’t tell that it already was animated. If you could, you could delete the old animation as the new animation parameter settings modal dialog opens? As it is one gets nested animation code in the text of the post.
Thanks for your prompt responses. I’m impressed.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Animate It!] Change image upon animationI am pretty sure that my problem is that I don’t know how to properly change from one animation to another. What I have been doing that has resulted in no animation, is just changing the name of the animation while in the post edit window where I, for example, changed “hinge” to “slideoutright” and animation failed. However, if I completely remove all the code (from “[edsanimate_start e…” through “[edsanimate_end]”) and start over by selecting the image and clicking the red animate it button in the edit window tool bar, then slideoutright works. So changing just the exit_animation_type= “hinge” to “slideoutright” breaks it somehow.
If I have already set up an animation, test it and want to change it, I go back to the post edit window, select the image and click the red animate it button and do another set up, now I see two, nested [edsanimate_start e…” through “[edsanimate_end]” so that can’t be the right way to change animation.
It seems I have to delete all the code and then start over, but if I do that in the visual mode of the post edit window, the image is deleted also. I can only succeed by deleting the animation parameters carefully in the text mode of the post edit window – which is a bit tedious.
Is there a better way to change animation type?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Animate It!] Change image upon animationThere are about 40? different animations available in the drop down menu but some of them don’t do anything. Am I missing something??

In reply to: [Animate It!] Change image upon animationPerhaps if you passed the mouse event through to the object selected to be animated, it could respond itself – such as small gif or other?

In reply to: [Animate It!] No word wrap with animationPerfect!
Thanks again. 5 stars coming for sure.

In reply to: [Animate It!] No word wrap with animationThat fixed the display – it is now in line (full word wrap) but the animation doesn’t work anymore. So to be sure I had everything correct, I manually edited the short-code to custom_css_class=”” and the animation worked again but the owl wasn’t inline anymore, of course.
Hope you have a fix.
Thanks for the really fast response!!
I have followed @wysija instructions to create a user for you to examine my site more closely.
Just got a notice of an update of the plugin so with great hope I tried again. Still no email. It is profoundly ironic to say the least.
After I tried several times two days ago,I finally received an email with subject “Please confirm your email address” and the following link: https://shop.mailpoet.com/login/confirm/01a4d55ecfa6a94814576cbf5e5c0445a812546ec64a5406821d1526c80a65dd
A strange thing – that it took almost 48 hours to arrive (so I suspect that someone manually sent this one). Anyway, the link in that email produces a web page containing only this one word in the extreme upper left corner:
please…
and I could see no other result from that and looking at the “Page Source” code confirmed that that one word was the entire content of that page, so it couldn’t do anything anyway. Very strange – maybe an attempt to confirm my email address was working??
I still couldn’t activate one of your plans in the mailpoet3 plugin, so –
I started over by clicking the orange button “NEW! Try it for free (for up to 2,000 …” and then the aqua “GET STARTED” button and got this (as usual)
“Check your inbox now to confirm your email address and continue your order.”
But no email shows up in my inbox or anywhere else.
