Thanks for giving me the head’s up – I definitely did not mean to violate the rules!! ?? I was thinking more that someone might be able to say “go to this section of your theme, cut and paste this code, and it will tell other systems ‘hey – don’t display this as visual text’ “. I’m chatting with MailChimp as we speak!

Thanks for the help. I understand about the 3rd party forms – good to know. And the “update existing subscribers” was already enabled, but it seems to have magically started working Go figure!

Thank you so much – it turned out to be an errant plug in causing the problem. Deleted the plug-in and voila! Problem solved. ??
