I have had this same issue today sometimes it corrects itself after you save draft the categories will appear sometimes it’s just very delayed I have no security plugins, however, I do use cloud flare.

other strange issues I have since installing Gutenberg I cannot just type in a youtube video URL the video Shows up in the editor just fine but not in the post I have use Embed to get it to show up in the post .

the Widget feature all work great in editor view but not at all when you publish and go to the post

When I insert an Image if the ALT Text you put in the box brings up scroll bar because it is longer then the view window the Image appears in the post with a part of the backend HTML address for the Image under the Image almost as if it is the caption if you go back edit the alt tat shorter so there is no scroll bar the issue is resolved .

there is no simple way to ad alt tet and such for gallery Images

I have a very different issue I get the http error now and again if I use image resize on the image noeoor uploads fine everytime ..

other times images files upload but they appear not as but there file type is changed to HTML this only started since the new update.

there has been several other odd happenings, now and again the editor gets an error code on top and visual editor wont work no matter because the post created gives eroor when you try to publish ..

feature image plugin works but the feature image shows up in media as unknown file type this would be utube and viemo videos ..

I thought this was just one of my sites its all my site and I get the same results using worpress.com editor ..
I use godaddy managed wordpress hosting I thought it was my hosting or set up but same results using wordpress.com I say its a wordpress iusse problen happen no matter the browswer I have used chrome and edge ..

This is defiantly a wordpress Issue I already have pay for managed wordpress hosting they have to code word press to work on the server not rebuild servers for wordpress since this is not the only thing out there shared servers have to work with many sites using all types of programming..

some of the changes that are suggested here can put some at risk of being outside hosting agreements and cause what some host believe to be possible server stability and security issues..

i have not talked to my host as of yet about some of the issues I have with thewordpress update as of this point how ever in the past the answer has always been they are not responcable for wordpress update issues or plugin issues the only the only thing they would do is tell me they can do is turn back the site to the last known working version..

I have not been able to get to the website in well over a week now maybe more some links give a 403 error some links 404 as if the site is no longer there .

some of the video categories through the ap still seems to work and post videos havent seen any ads with in over a week or maybe there arent any to see now. and have heard no news or notices what so ever .

how ever the issue seems to have resolved its self I guess monday morning all the videos were loading and playing like they should again .

I do have 2 domains using this account both had the same issue over the weekend both were working again on Monday morning figured maybe it was a server glitch with the video host or something ..

I did write the suport address but I had no reply

I beleive the error is parsing error line 4 or something of that nature ..

The newest update release 30 mins ago June 1 has an error and causeing problem using the backend of wordpress I have tried reinstalling twice and had to disable through hosting control pannel my whole site will not work with out this plugin
