In reply to: [Lazy Load for Comments] Combined with Social login and slide out effectHi @joelcj91,
I’m happy to invest some money to help with the issues I’m asking about above, I’ve said this in emails to you via your website too (several times) can you please just give me an answer as I am also happy to ask another developer too. As you indicated above you were working on it I wanted to give you time but would just like to know how you are getting on, just an update.
Thanks

In reply to: [Lazy Load for Comments] Combined with Social login and slide out effectHi @joelcj91,
Have you been able to have a look at this. I saw a dramatic improvement on DOM size when using this on pages with lots of comments but the result was positive from that perspective but then as the flyout effect and fields to put name, email etc didn’t work, nobody can post a comment so a pretty dramatic side effect.
Anything I can do to help with testing a solution for this?
Thanks,
John

In reply to: [Lazy Load for Comments] Combined with Social login and slide out effectHi @joelcj91
Is it not possible to exclude the comment form from the lazy loading? Have you had a look at this?
Thanks,
John

In reply to: [Lazy Load for Comments] Combined with Social login and slide out effectHi Joel,
I’m using the Social Media Login plugin by Miled (ref: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-social-login/)
Thanks,
John
PS: I was wondering whether there was an option to have the comment form appear outside of the comments section (that is lazy loaded) this may also help with the above.

In reply to: [WPBruiser {no- Captcha anti-Spam}] Slow Load time GTMetrixHi there,
Would it be possible to have the option to minify the JS script with the plugin settings?
Granted that the deferred loading is great but being able to decrease overall page size is going to help with page performance.
Thanks,
John

In reply to: [CAOS | Host Google Analytics Locally] Support WP Rocket’s CDN FunctionHi there,
I’d also like to add a plus one to being able to have this hosted on CDN, WPRocket or other plugins being able to catch it via a rewrite so that it can be included in the CDN served files.
Thanks,
John

In reply to: [MultilingualPress] Cookie sessionsThanks very much @wido for your feedback, that’s really helpful.

Yes it’s such a pity because the plugin has been awesome over the years and I think it may only need a slight update of the code but I don’t think it is monitored much any more…
Damn, what you just said made me realise that I am not sure that I told them that it was a multisite set-up so this may be one of the factors that differentiates us and may not have allowed them to replicate the error when they tested it. I’ll respond to them and ask them to make sure that they did use a multisite and in my case with different languages…
Hi @metaliz
I reached out to Genesis creators CopyBlogger via their support form and they tested it with (probably a Vanilla 2.2.X + Dynamik + this plugin) and said they had no issues. I re-downloaded the latest version of this plugin and then tried the upgrade and again it crashed. I then deactivated this and then upgraded but I then had a crash with an upgrade of a very standard plugin a few days later (think it was Yoast but no longer 100% sure). I reverted (thank god for backups) this then crashed the whole back-end so I reverted back to a pre Genesis 2.2.7 and have NOT upgraded since and have been staying at 2.2.6 after several crashes on updates of plugins.
It may well be an issue on my set-up each of us has modified small things at a minimum, but I felt that Copyblogger were very hasty to dismiss this issue…
(You can tell I’m not too impressed ??I resolved this by deactivating the plugin, updating to Genesis 2.2.7 and then reactivating the plugin. I also plan to stop using it shortly anyway…

In reply to: [AMP] images broken / not appearing within postjshare thanks for the comment, I have stopped using lazyload at the moment, may be the wrong move but for SEO I find that it messes up the image SEO work I have done and now with responsive images in WP seems less of an issue…
