Hi @abitp
This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

In reply to: [Awesome Support - WordPress HelpDesk & Support Plugin] Stop image previewYou can disable the image embedding feature by adding this line of code to your wp-config.php file:
define( ‘WPAS_DISABLE_IMAGE_EMBEDDING’, true );
This will prevent the plugin from adding img src tags to the image links in your ticket replies.
Alternatively, you can also try this option:
- Open wordpress Dashboard.
- In Menu Ticket->Settings open Advanced Tab and Tic Do Not Mask Attachment Links option.
- Then Save Setting.
This way open attachment direct to file address.
I hope this helps.

I’m sorry to hear that you have issues with the attachments. Unfortunately, currently, we do not have this feature that limits the attachments on the size of it. However, I can add this to the feature request list. Also we offer custom development as well. Please let me know if you are interested.

In reply to: [Awesome Support - WordPress HelpDesk & Support Plugin] require upload fileHi @lydiamunoz
Thanks for the clarification, unfortunately currently we do not have the feature.
When you open a ticket on behalf of the user/client from the backend, you use this panel to add a title and description, and from the Add Media option, you can add the attachment.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

In reply to: [Awesome Support - WordPress HelpDesk & Support Plugin] Ticket ID PrefixHi @owengna
Thanks for reaching us. The post id on tickets is handled by WordPress so we unfortunately cannot handle this. One solution could be creating a custom field to put the number you need in ascending order.

What is the Awesome Support version you are using? I tested this again in different environments andcouldn’t reproduce the issue. I was able to attach files when opening a ticket for a user/client.

In reply to: [Awesome Support - WordPress HelpDesk & Support Plugin] require upload fileHi,
Thank you for reaching out.
1 – I am sorry, currently we do not have a feature to make the upload files a required field.
Regarding your second question, if you open a ticket as an administrator through the WordPress panel, you should be able to attach files. If you’re not able to do so, it’s possible that there’s a permission issue with your user account. You can check your user role and capabilities by going to TICKETS->SETTINGS->ROLES & CAPABILITIES.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else I can help you with.

Hi @lauramark
We do not have any known compatibility issues with the ASTRA theme. Can you please share any information to investigate this issue further, unfortunatley the screenshots you have shared are expired now.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else I can help you with.
