In reply to: [SEOPress - On-site SEO] Can’t generate sitemapThat did it. I think it was TranslatePress, hard to say because I’ve also just installed the Pro version of TranslatePress which has their SEO pack that automatically addresses the sitemap.
All good now anyway. Thanks for your input.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SEOPress - On-site SEO] Can’t generate sitemapHi. Permalinks have been flushed multiple times and I don’t use NGINX on the server. I’ve referred to the guide multiple times too.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Issue with Customers Not Receiving Password Reset EmailsThis is an increasingly common issue in my experience. Try setting up SMTP authentication on the site with something like Easy WP SMTP or WP Mail SMTP.

In reply to: [Getwid - Gutenberg Blocks] Image slider responsivenessJust to say that, in the absence of any further replies, we’ve elected to not use the image slider for this project.

In reply to: [Better Core Video Embeds] Play button vertical alignment in SafariFair enough, I’m running an old MBP which can only go as far as Catalina, making Safari 15.6.1 the newest version I can use.
While I’m here, it would be good to have a smaller play button on mobiles, say at under 768px width. I’m currently adjusting that with CSS too, I just thought it could be an easy addition to the plugin CSS.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Getwid - Gutenberg Blocks] Image slider responsivenessTwo other things:
1. Once I have a slider in place on the page, when editing if I try to scroll below it to add/edit further content it keeps jumping back up to the slider. It helps to some extent if the slideshow is disabled, but still tends to make the page jump around and it’s making further editing impossible. I’m using several other Getwid blocks on this site and would prefer not to have to install a separate slider.
2. Responsive breakpoints – it would be really good if it was possible to easily choose the main mobile breakpoint for a given block where applicable as 991px is very wide, I usually go with 768px and sometimes 480px. I needed to adjust the Timeline here to go to a single column at 768px and I had to copy/edit quite a lot of CSS from the plugin to achieve that. At least it would really help if all the @media CSS for each block was all in one place in the CSS, or even in a separate file – I had to copy multiple blocks of CSS for the timeline, multiple instances of the same @media call which were all spread around throughout the CSS for that block.Could the CSS for each block perhaps have all similar @media calls in one place, so it’s easier to locate them? Any chance that a field could be provided which would allow a choice for the breakpoint?
Let me know if I should open another thread?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Category Archives Block] Invalid code?Glad to hear that, thanks for the prompt response.
While I’m here, if I choose to display in a dropdown I’m getting multiple instances of 2 ‘undefined array key 2’ warnings in category-archives-block.php, lines 148 and 164. I’m not sure whether the update would address that too?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Better Core Video Embeds] Thumbnail sizesSo, now it’s live it seems the resolution thing has fixed itself. Probably due to the caching as you say. Sorry to have troubled you.

In reply to: [Better Core Video Embeds] Thumbnail sizesAs I say I can’t share it yet – we’re having issues getting social feeds connected so it’s not ready to be opened up until that’s fixed. Can I send it to you privately when it’s ready to view please? How can I best do that, I’m not seeing an option for that here?

In reply to: [Better Core Video Embeds] Thumbnail sizesAs I say I’m in the middle of launching it, it’s on the server but needs some housework before I can open it up. I’ll share a URL ASAP. What’s the best way to get that to you privately?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Customer user names and emails have text appendedSure, I enabled WooCommerce integration in the Zero Spam plugin.
What’s the best way to confirm that certain registrations are indeed spam? Use an email verification service like email-checkerDOTnet?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Customer user names and emails have text appendedOn closer inspection, all of the users with appended characters have never placed an order, and all customers who have placed orders are listed correctly, so it seems these others may be spam registrations, which I’ve now taken steps to prevent.
