@tripflex , I ended up getting update for my theme and all was good.

@akakafonis , did you add the API key to your wordpress site? It’s under Listings>Settings. If that’s there, try including country in the location.

I’m again having issues with the map. I am adding my location and getting back the lat/long geocodes. however when I look at my listing page, the map is not displayed. Just a grey area. Anyone get through this?

I believe the fix had to do with the format I was entering my address in. This is an example that worked. In my case, I was not putting the country at the end.

I was thinking and I did do a little more than theme mentioned above said. For Region, I just made an entry that said “Servicing Anywhere on Earth”. Then I just used the categories to differentiate between food types:

Food
Recipes
– BBQ
– Bread
– Dessert
– Etc
Restaurants
-American
– Asian
– Korean
– Sushi
– Thai
– Etc

I leave the location field blank, although maybe I’ll start putting a country in there from the region where the cuisine comes from. We’ll see ??

I wish I could take all the credit. I’m using a theme from Pixelgrade called Listable. I have been meaning to post again about something else. I’d like to post to my friends on FaceBook or some other medium a link to my bread recipes: https://microcurator.com/listing-category/bread/

I’d like an image that I have associated to the category to display in the preview. That doesn’t seem to work. Am I doing something wrong or is the image for some other purpose?

I’m having a similar issue. I entered a new listing, however the map is not showing up in the right hand panel even though I put in a location. I’ve tried with the Google Map API and map box API.

I upgraded:
1. WordPress
2. WP-Job Manager
3. Theme

That fixed it. Unfortunately, I lost some customizations I did, but I’ll live with it ??

Figured this out. For those who have this issue.

You just need to go to the developer console to the Google+ API and enable it.

I too saw this happen at about 7 pm ET (I think) on June 3rd. It was working earlier in the day. I presume there’s a bug or configuration issue somewhere. Or, perhaps FB changed something that doesn’t play well with Jetpack.

Jetpack team, any ideas on what’s going on?
