In reply to: [Caldera Forms - More Than Contact Forms] Conflict with Qode Bridge themeI have come across a post on the Qode support system that confirms they are aware of the style conflict, but it would appear they won’t be changing anything.

Hope this is of use to someone.
Unfortunately I think a fix (as an end user) is out of my hands, so I will have to find an alternative form solution and hope that one day theme/plugin author(s) make an update ??

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Automatic upgrade] Whata Joke!I dread WP upgrading, but this worked without a hitch, particularly as I have my own custom non-WordPress directories and files contained within the WP installation directory.
I made a manual backup of the WP directory and saved a complete MySQL backup via phpMyAdmin as well as the WPAU provided backups just in case, but all went without a hitch. There was a moan early on about permissions and it asked for FTP details, so rather than try to fix permissions I just went with providing the FTP details. Didn’t really look into the fact that they might have been optional if permissions had been OK. Nonetheless, all went smoothly on two 2.6.1 -> 2.6.2 installs.

In reply to: Turn off “Post Revision”-featureI think the post revision feature is a great addition to the software, but must register my vote that it should:
1. be easy to enable/disable through settings
2. result in revisions being stored in a separate table, leaving only the most current version in the main posts tableI’d like to add that it might be nice to introduce some kind of pruning mechanism, so that revisions over X days are automatically removed (some might consider revisions over 28 days to be no longer required for example) or a maximum of Y revisions are kept. Naturally values would be user definable through the interface.
One of my installations is a prime example of a single-user system and I am a prime example of a user who always makes (multiple) minor adjustments to posts after they have been published, no matter how much I read and re-read the draft version.
I am on paid hosting, but space is limited and although a single revision doesn’t take up a lot of space, effectively tripling or quadrupling the size of each post is a concern.
Thanks.
