It doesn’t currently have ANY version installed. We removed it when it kept crashing our server. Thanks for your help.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I will consult with my client; they moved to Akismet after the site went down another time and, even though it’s more expensive, may be happy with it.

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Words out of order in debug searchVery helpful, thank you. There was a residual function from an old theme that I didn’t notice (slipped through when I was retheming the site). Thank you so much.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Trying to get property ‘post_status’ of non-objectThanks for getting back to me, Julie.
It fills the debug.log file —?over and over and over again. ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Crop-Thumbnails] Images Revert to Default CropI am sorry that I am just now seeing this. I understand that, theoretically, they should not “magically” uncrop… but that is exactly what seems to happen.
I am the theme developer, and I have not changed the code in the theme. The images typically show the correct crop UNTIL I flush caches. Somehow, some way, the thumbnails are all regenerating.
The original crop shows up in the Media section … and we are able to crop the image AGAIN, then it reverts. We never know exactly when or why this will happen. I think it coordinates with publishing a new post.

In reply to: WordPress 5 no option for parent under page attributesExperiencing the same issue. Looking forward to a resolution. I hadn’t noticed it until my client emailed that she couldn’t figure it out. I thought she was just missing it. ??

In reply to: Updating failed when you save Post in WP5I wasn’t trying to introduce a new issue. I mentioned the plugin thing as an aside. My point was that it might be generating an error message, but that the post might, in fact, be updating correctly.

In reply to: Updating failed when you save Post in WP5I get the update failed error message, but it seems that the changes have taken effect, anyway. In other words: it says it failed, but it seems to have succeeded.
In trying to disable a plugin, though, the opposite happened: I got a “success” message that it was deactivated, but it wasn’t. Not until I manually removed the file from the FTP server.
I was worried about this, which is why I have updated only one site to WP5 of the dozens I manage.

In reply to: [Mendeley Plugin] Something is wrong, and I don’t know whatThanks for getting back. I think the issue was one with our site cache. It was storing an old version of the .json file (I think). I reauthorized Mendeley cleared out all the debris, and I think we’re in good shape. Sorry to have bothered you.

I decided to try the shortcode, and I now remember why we had used a workaround in the past. If you visit the following page, you’ll see that the formatting is off when I use the shortcode:

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] No longer receiving emailsI will go through, but I don’t think this is the case. I have created a local version of the site so that I can disable all of the plugins and change the theme (without disrupting the public site). I have tried having the form send to various email addresses — my personal address, the client’s business address, my business address — all without any resolution.
I have installed Mailgun, which logs all of the emails it sends, and the emails sent from Contact 7 do not show up in the logs. It DOES show things like password reset emails sent to customers and receipts from Woocommerce. I am exploring the options in the article you sent, but I don’t think that spam is the answer.

In reply to: [Product Customer List for WooCommerce] Variations Column BlankI’m not. I’m using a snippet found here:

In reply to: [Contact Form DB] Not being updated?Thank you for the response. In looking army FTP server, the original developer (not me) also had “contact-form-to-database-extension-edit” installed. Do I still need that? Was that HIS extension or yours? It lists you an the author, but I don’t want to screw anything up, since it’s all working fine right now.
The WP plugin installer says that it’s not been tested with my version of WP (4.8.2). Could that be part of it? I really think the promise of your plugin is fantastic and would love to be able to use it for other sites, too. People ask for Insta galleries all the time, now, and I’m not so interested in learning a new API. ??
Thanks for the help, but sorry — didn’t work.
