In reply to: [CBX Twitter Card] image not showing on tweetssorry about that, must have overlooked the last email. The permissions are all correct. I contacted jetpack as well since it is doing it for their publicize plugin as well, and they basically said the same thing and to contact my host provider. My host provider pointed me back to jetpack since everything looked good on their end.
for now I’m tired of the run around and will just take care of the twitter things manually until I have the patience to oepn this conversation up with one of them again.
Thanks for your reply though, appreciate it. You can mark this as closed.

In reply to: [Nuntius] Jetpack css stepping on slideshow controlsLearn something new every day, thanks for the link.
I just found a plugin to fix the phone/tablet issue; seemed easier than finding another theme that I liked.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Nuntius] Jetpack css stepping on slideshow controlsNuntius did do an update a few months back which solved this problem and a few other issues we were having with other plugins.
I don’t know what you mean by being responsive Dukemd, but for us, the theme works great now. Maybe start a new thread with more details about your concerns. While they don’t update this theme on a constant basis, the team is responsive to comments and may be able to help you out.
Actually the past few days, emails have gone out as per normal so I am going to assume it was a minor glitch somewhere. I have bookmarked the link and will be sure to document the dates in the future should this problem arises again. Thanks for the reply.

In reply to: [Nuntius] Jetpack css stepping on slideshow controlsNot new to wordpress Steve, just new CSS code. We’ve had everything up and running for a year and a half now. I’ve heard child themes mentioned before, but up until recently never knew what they were.
If Nuntius ever updates or we find a new theme I’ll start off with a child theme, that leaves me a little time to educate myself.
Thanks for all you help and advice, it was greatly appreciated.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Nuntius] Jetpack css stepping on slideshow controlsHopefully the author updates the theme and adds the autoplay function. If you come up with anything let me know but don’t rack your brain too hard.
Thanks again for the fix, I was dreading the thought of switching themes, or worse yet, finding replacement plugins for the features we use in jetpack.

In reply to: [Nuntius] Jetpack css stepping on slideshow controlsThanks Steve. Since I am a novice I had to find out where to insert the code but it is working now. Thank you.
You wouldn’t by any chance know how to make the slider run automatically, would you. That is the one function it did not come with but I’d love to see.
And to the Nuntius author, I would really love to see an update for this theme. If not, it is good to know that it is still being supported as I would hate to change.
That link was what I needed, I wasn’t sure exactly where to go to insert the code.
All fixed, thanks for your reply.

In reply to: [Nuntius] Jetpack css stepping on slideshow controlsHey Steve, I just posted a separate thread as I am having the same exact issue with Jetpack
If it is something that will require a Nuntius update, any chance you would be able to walk a novice through what and where the CSS code has to be adjusted? Just thinking negatively here and exploring alternatives to replacing a theme or jetpack features with other plugins.
I’m still keeping my fingers crossed there is an easy fix for this somewhere.

In reply to: [Enhanced Media Library] Great Plugin but breaks the new Add Media in 3.9It looks like the Author checks in about once a month. Hopefully he checks here soon as I’ve look at some of the alternatives. So far this plugin is the best so I’m going to hold on for a while and hope.
I just sent a tweet to the plugin author as well as wordpressUXsolutions, hopefully somebody see’s it.

Several people including myself have had the same issue as you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Enhanced Media Library] Great Plugin but breaks the new Add Media in 3.9Add one more to the list. Had to do the same thing as brookebot above and I’m not to happy about it.
I love this plugin as I hate the unorganized clutter in the media section. I really hope the author see’s this and does an update.
