In reply to: [OceanWP] mobile rendering iOSHi @skalanter
Many thanks for that help – worked like a charm. Are you able to advise on a solution for the mobile menu? Whilst the ‘main menu’ is fine in these older browsers, the ‘mobile menu’ does not respond on these older browsers (it just highlights as active)?
best regards

In reply to: [OceanWP] mobile rendering iOSI have now replaced LiteSpeed with a different optimisation tool and removed AISEO – which seems to have improved performance.
I just now need to address the mobile rendering.
Many thanks

In reply to: [OceanWP] mobile rendering iOSThanks Shahin
I am somewhat confused about the TTFB issue – particularly as the images are being compressed. I have re-exported/optimised these and will allow the optimisation processes in the plug in to further improve these. Furthermore, I do not have lazy load enabled in LiteSpeed?
I also need to address the mobile rendering of the site. Here is a different screenshot.

You will see in this image:
1) the header logo is not within the screen container
2) the footer shows the [oceanwp_date] shortcode – it does not render the date
3) (you cannot see) but the mobile menu does not workI am working on this to improve performance – but would appreciate any further help you can offer

In reply to: [OceanWP] mobile rendering iOSHi Shahin
I deactivated all plugins (which are listed below) and did a full purge of Cloudflare CDN. i then checked this in an uncached incognito browser window and these changes did not change the rendering issue at all in the affected devices / browsers.
AIOSEO
LiteSpeed Cache
Ocean Extra
SimpLy Gallery Block & Lightbox
Theme Editor
Total Upkeep
Wordfence Security
WP ResetI forgot to mention that I had also noticed that the mobile menu does not work at all in these browsers / devices. Happy to supply details.
I have reactivated the plugins for now.

In reply to: [OceanWP] restrict header media size mobile + mobile menuCheers.
I have optimization plugins in place (minify, image optimization) and am using Cloudflare.
Have been trying different layouts to overcome issues Time to page load (and performance in general) is slower than desirable (per performance testing and recommended times) and the header is not loading properly on some older devices (separate ticket).
Was hoping this would be easier to set up than is currently being experienced.

In reply to: [OceanWP] restrict header media size mobile + mobile menuEDIT: the page builder used to create the custom header is contributing to slow page loads. I would much rather have the option of using the minimal header style with a way to restrict the header media / image size in tablet / mobile. I am sure that would result in far less CSS etc. assets bloating the load cycle? Can you assist please? many thanks

In reply to: [OceanWP] restrict header media size mobile + mobile menuHave created custom header – resolved

In reply to: [OceanWP] restrict header media size mobile + mobile menuHi
Thanks very much for your reply
1) apologies, the logo was left in the customizer as I was experimenting with the Top Menu style – but I do not want to use the logo option as I do not want the Top Menu stacked layout (i.e., menu bar above logo). I want to use the Header Image in the Minimal Header style. I have now removed the logo from the customizer. In mobile, I want the image as ‘a logo’, right aligned, but to not cover the menu on the left.
Desktop is OK – https://www.amazon.co.uk/photos/share/m3GhDOo3O7vjAFrpWbamNrIAKiU2U1cOoPLZL4QYETQ
Tablet seems OK –
https://www.amazon.co.uk/photos/share/re8OvhAMesFKohp667vpLndkixn4y8LwxXlOie2ShTsMobile image always covers menu –
https://www.amazon.co.uk/photos/share/R4CB6Ol7QoZFKuBcaX84zvhnr0umprgG3ONNdTHk5nHI would like Mobile to render more like Tablet (not blocking the menu). I was working on the basis that restricting the image size under the right query would resolve that
2) I have been playing around with this and whatever I have done has given me what I need .

In reply to: [OceanWP] restrict header media size mobile + mobile menuEdit: note more than anything – I can use Top Menu to obtain a similar effect as desired – but do not want to stack the menu and image. Minimal delivers an inline layout which is preferred.

In reply to: [Zakra] Event Espresso – Archives Event pageHi Ashesh
Sorry – I’m not sure I 100% understand the question?
I originally used the Zakra Child theme download – but found that none of the configuration formating in the parent theme was taking effect (this may be expected behaviour?). I had the choice of re-configuring the new Child Theme using all of the same customisations / additional CSS – or use a Plugin to create the Child theme and have that copy over the customisation during the build process. I realised that would be much quicker so used the Child Theme Configurator plugin to create the Zakra Child Theme. I then deleted the manually created child theme that I had downloaded from the Zakra blog.
I hope this provides the information you wanted?

In reply to: [Zakra] Event Espresso – Archives Event pageHi Ashesh
Thanks for the reply and the imminent update.
Can you advise how the fix is being implemented – what I should look for / or will need to do when that is deployed?
The site is already set up with a Child Theme. Just for info – I did use your download but then realised I’d need to reconfigure all of the customisation settings (as it was an established site). I ended up using a Child Theme creation plugin as that helped carry over the existing customisations.

I’ve added the code and cleared caches etc. but do not seem to see a difference, do you?
Many thanks

Thanks for this – the remove CSS didn’t seem to work? The second replace code did = but seems to have added a margin at the top of the page – affecting the position of the header and right sidebar content?
Are you seeing that? Any ideas?
Cheers again
