No. I assumed that it wasn’t your plugin. It is a pity there is a conflict though (maybe with Wordfence?) as it breaks my site.

thank you very much for your speedy reply. If my server is set up the wrong way, can you tell me what is missing, so I can speak to my host? Also, what might the other symptoms be of that fault? Perhaps that is related to my recent resource usage issue?

That top post is the one I started noticing the issue

I see it (ver 3.4.25) Settings>SNAP Social Networks autoposter>Your Social Networks Accounts Settings> Facebook>Advanced> it’s about the second item down

I recently heard back from my web host and according to them, there have been no changes to setting etc at their end. So I am still mystified as to what the problem might be..

I am discovering that my web host has installed a WORDPRESS LOCKDOWN that denies JETPACK access to my xmlrpc.php file. Apparently this was done in the past few months but I did not know until I uninstalled JETPACK for a few moments (to check for a plugin incompatability) and when i tried to reinstall it i got this message:

“Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible”

This is perhaps why my images are currently blocked. My host is rather terse and unhelpful, would you mind telling me the correct syntax to add to my .htaccess file to allow JETPACK access to my xmlrpc.php file? Do I allow specific JETPACK IP addresses or some sort of referral from JETPACK. WORDPRESS.COM?

the debugger is definitely confuse by the front page but even a single post is showing the wrong image:

But my next question (probably a silly one) is why this is so and what I’ve done wrong? I have chosen preferred images for each post but now do i have to do that again with TAGS? and if so is there a way of speeding up/automating this somehow? my blog is vast.

is there a way to FORCE a certain post into being used as a RELATED POST for certain blog posts? very rarely there are related posts that are not served, perhaps because the phrasing in the two posts is not obviously connected (but maybe the visuals are)

i do have a self-hosted site but the link i went to for that option was not helpful. i only established an account at wordpress.com to use JETPACK.

Actually, no worries about that problem; it seems to be working FINE now! so that’s a relief.

Do you ever plan to make it possible to import comments from OLD blog-posts on Facebook?
