I deactivated all plugins one at a time but have the same problem.
chrome is showing these errors- any use? (edit I can’t seem to include attachment but page is below)

But when you look in list view for blog posts it seems to be taking the image as full size.

When i check the original image in the media library it says its 1000×664 pixels
its the same for all the blog posts
