In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] Online Meetings Won’t Publish ProperlyFantastic!
A few updates ago, they made it where you can have a city and not need a specific address. We changed all of our online only to just the city to avoid further confusion. I think before the address was coming form the location of one of the internet providers in town. (which we don’t use. Go figure that one out…)
Anyhow, glad you got it working!

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] Online Meetings Won’t Publish ProperlyI do notice when I go to the site, the specific meeting location doesn’t show anything in the map – I’ve had that happen a couple of times, and had to re-enter the city.
I also notice when I go to the meetings list, this meeting isn’t specifically displaying (the virtual). You’ve got a link for Monday Pick-Me-Up AFG (https://al-anondaytonoh.org/meetings/monday-pick-me-up-afg/), but not the virtual link you have above.
When you edit the meeting, is the map showing on the edit screen, or is it blank? I’m not sure what causes it, but I’ve got 2 that do it if I do a mass upload. My solution is try erasing the address, then putting in Miami, OH as the location, then try republishing.
I know that feels like the same as rebuilding the input, but if it’s just the address, that seems to make the difference for mine.

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] In-person and Online Mtg displaying as Online@acacialtc – I don’t have any input on your topic question, but I would love to know how you got the counts, icons, and the different colors on your meetings page!

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] Temporarily InactiveFor the ones you have an actual zoom link, I have no idea why it’s behaving that way. I see the link for Devon RCA (Recovery Centers of America) for Sun @12:30. The link certainly looks correct from my view.
I created a test meeting for online only https://intergroup5.org/meetings/test-only-not-a-meeting/
It’s using GoTo (a test I created for somebody else), but it’s set to ‘No’ for meeting in person, which also allows me to not have an actual address. Looking at your not, you yours show as Temporarily Inactive if you check ‘No’. Did you refresh your page view when you went to check? I’ve had a couple of instance where my local cache bit me in the backside after making multiple changes in a day.
For the 2nd part, I’m also our Intergroup chair. I finally explained to the ones that want to be so anonymous that nobody can find them, that without a published link, the meeting guide can’t really list them. One person actually said ‘well not everybody has a smart phone or computer’…Then how do you expect them to email you and get a zoom link?? (I privately then think ‘uneducated donkey!)
Try changing one, pull your meeting list, and force the page to refresh (F5). See if that works.

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] Meeting Listing@bart3293 – I did a test using my personal GoTo account from work. The link button text changes to ‘Join with GoTo Meeeting’.
When I create a GoTo, it generates a link, just as Zoom, WebEx and any of the other on-line meeting platforms do. Do you not have the actual url link for the specific meeting? It will look like this: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/186226477 where the number is the same as your meeting ID.
The test meeting is here: https://intergroup5.org/meetings/test-only-not-a-meeting/?tsml-day=3
Let me know if that helps any. I’ll pull it down after you’ve had a chance to look at it.

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] Digital Basket TypeWe ran into this with one of our groups that use Venmo. Venmo requires a real person account, so it’s their banking information, contact, etc. To make it even more fun, you can’t actually link to Venmo for a payment like you can PayPal or some of the other payment sites, it has to be done from a mobile platform using their app.
Our solution was to put in the notes for the meeting that the group uses Venmo, and to please contact one of the group members for the Venmo info.

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] meeting filters not working correctlyWe have found the problem – there was a meeting with an incomplete address. It listed a community center on a main highway, but not the street number. Once the street number was added, the address resolved and the list showed correctly for Sunday.

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] meeting filters not working correctlyWe are having this issue as well. If I load the meeting page and select ‘Sunday’ in the day drop-down, it only shows the first meeting of the day. If I refresh the page or just put my mouse in the address bar and press ‘enter’, it loads the entire list for Sunday. If I re-select ‘Sunday’ in the day drop-down, it goes back to showing just the first meeting. The app seems to show all the meetings for each day.
This is happening on 2 sites, 1 of which is a test site and hosted by a different provider, with a different php version. (Test site not linked directly to the app).
Both sites have version 3.6.6 of the app. The published official site is https://intergroup5.org/meetings
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] How to Add Text to Meeting Page@theviv – thanks for including the query code for those of us who know enough to be dangerous when working on our sites! That really helps as I try to explain why we don’t need 4 different pages to show this info.
